[DoE] Personal Missions: Round 2!

Day 2,253, 00:00 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

After great success after our first round of personal missions, we have another round for you fellow Americans! This time we are increasing the rewards and increasing the options! Last round we ended up supplying 670 Q5 food and 765 CC! Now frankly as SoE my goal was to basically throw free stuff at a large amount of people and we barely reached my expectations. But first runs are always a test run and this has taught me that we can definitely give more this time. So all rewards have increased all missions have changed a little or less and we have a new mission.

What are Missions?

Missions are tasks, both big and small, that citizens can complete to gain special rewards (anything from mere experience points to rare items). They vary in difficulty and are open to all players. Indeed, the rewards provided often serve as an effective means of teaching new citizens how to play the game in addition to incentivizing the completion various important tasks.

Noting the positive effects brought about by eRepublik’s official missions, we asked ourselves, “Why shouldn’t we have missions exclusive to the eUSA?” Well, today, we’re excited to announce the relaunching of the (now-defunct) Department of Human Services’ program--Personal Missions--that will teach new citizens how to thrive in the eRepublik in a fun, attractive way.

The program’s first event will begin on January 19 and will end on January 28, after which the next set of missions will be released. Citizens will see two types of missions: one-time missions (intended to be completed once per event period) and daily missions (which can be repeated once per day the event is active). In addition, missions will be modified from time to time to keep participants on their toes.

Eligibility Requirements: Players must be younger than a year old in order to be considered eligible to participate in each event. If you have any questions about the requirements, come to #eUSA-DoE on IRC (at irc.rizon.net) and ask for help. While you’re there, answer the Question of the Day for an additional reward!

Military Mission (Daily)

The Daily Order (commonly referred to as the DO) is an important part of every soldier’s routine, as it allows Military Unit (MU) leaders to effectively direct damage toward specific battles and lets soldiers earn special items and experience. Each day you complete the DO, you receive 1 energy bar and 5 different bazooka parts (all of which should be saved for later use in important battles). While putting high amounts of damage into battles can be extremely useful in the higher divisions, it’s actually better for D1 and D2 soldiers not to fight more than the DO requires (25 kills) per day.

This is a daily mission that can be repeated, once per day, until the 28th!

Mission: Go to the eRepublik homepage, find your daily order (underneath your daily tasks), and defeat 25 opponents.

After completing the mission, submit the details via this forum.
