[Dan/naD] Future Country President

Day 1,590, 12:39 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Dan/naD Wilshire
The Introduction

On the 5th April 2012 we the people as Switzerland go to the polls to elect a new Country President (CP).This month, I Dan/naD Wilshire will have my name on the ballot paper. I am a member of the A.I.M party and the party has given me the honour of representing them in this upcoming election. I am also currently being supported by the Swiss Peoples Party and I am very greatful of all the support I have got!

Why should I run for Country President

I was granted citizenship to Switzerland on 28th September 2011. Since then I have been an Ambassador 3x to eSingapore, eSouth Korea and eJapan. I also got the privilege of being Minister of Information for Monsuier Guillontine and this month Bowen199 gave me the challenge of being Minister of Defence.

But titles only mean something is you put your all into the job. For the past 3 months I have been a member of ]AIM and I have done my best to be active within the party. The evidence for this is the fact that the party has decided to support me for CP this month. However being active within the party is one thing, being active within the country is another. I am on the IRC nearly every day for multiple hours, I am on the forums and I get involved when my input is needed. I also try to keep active in the media by writing articles. As MoI I did a series of interviews with the main players in eSwitzerland at the time and as MoD I have ensured that orders have been posted every day.

What I have achieved in other countries

Before I can to eSwitzerland I travelled around the eWorld and gain a lot of experience and friends along the way. I have been PP over 12 times, I am currently serving my 8th term as a congress member for a country, and I have been involved in many government ministries before.

I spent exactly a year in South Korea and I achieved many things. I started my own political party and got it to the 3rd biggest in the country in 2 months. I got elected into congress for 7 consecutive months. I was also given the honour to be Minister of Education for 4 months, Minster of Health for 3 months along with the Ministry of Media for 3 months. During this time I also help run the resistance MU against the active government (I the FSR 😉) and I was also chosen to run as the resistances CP candidate 2 months in a row.

Also of this gave me lots of valuable experience which I hope to use to my advantage if elected as CP of Switzerland.

What are my aims

I have 5 main aims this month:
1) Assessing our position of Neutrality
Neutrality isn’t working for us. We are being stepped on from both sides and the only thing we can do is ask for gold. We need to find an alliance who will accept us and help us grow into a stronger country who gets the respect the we deserve.

2) Increasing the number of MPP’s we have
From the article our MoF released a few days ago we can see that we make around 80,000 CHF a day. In a 30 day month that would equal 240 MPP’s, however I would be looking at getting 10-15 MPP’s which is 4%-6% of what our current revenue would allow us to get.

3) Increasing government spending
Since we have a large income and a small population we need to consider putting our finances to better use. Since we get attacked often I believe that it would be wise to increase the MoD’s budget so that it can run the SNA more efficiently and more supplies can be given to our troops and other MU’s who work alongside us. Also I would look into organising a small baby boom in eSwitzerland and if this happened I would set up a grant system to help speed up their growth. But that is for another article.

4) Organising treaties with our neighbours
Every month it seems different countries want our land for resources. To ensure that our economy isn’t threatened we ask for gold in return. I believe that we should still rent out our regions as gold is a vital asset for a country. I believe that we should go out looking for the best deal possible which will provide us protection, a source of finance and congress.

5) Increasing our GDP
Currently we are going through tax reform. I would try and carry this on into the next term and ensure that the country is making the largest profit possible. Also the grant scheme could be applied here to help players build companies so our markets have more products on them to aid in income.

These are the areas I feel we need to tackle head on next month to ensure the strength of eSwitzerland is not put at risk.
