[CP] Update on recent events [EN|DE]

Today I’m going to tell you something about the currently running proposal to declare Norway as natural enemy. This is not a rogue proposal, it has been made with agreement from me. Don’t blame me yet, I’ll try to explain it so that you hopefully understand it.

We are still stuck in our current situation, isolation, no own wars, no new bonus, barely fun. After my last article voice from our population became stronger, i received lots of PMs asking why we don’t attack any of our surrounding countries. I explained all of them our situation, I explained the past, the alliances, the MPP-system. Still there were lots of people supporting a war with one of our neighbours.

Then some days ago the norwegian president has shown up asking for a rental agreement about “our” region Nordjylland for 10.000 currency per month. I’ve proposed that to our congress, I’ve proposed it to Maine Coon as representant of the danish community and we came to the opinion that this is not going to happen. Now people became even more serious about counter-attacking Norway for that proposal as they denied several times to rent us one of their oil-regions.

That’s why I decided to let congress make the decision. Because of our glorious GO one of the Ministry of Defense had to start it so that we won’t need any further discussiontime.

Power to the people

It seems like it is not going to pass, I myself won’t vote on that law.

Heute gibts was zum aktuell laufenden Natural Enemy-Gesetz zu lesen. Es ist kein ungewollter Vorschlag von Slayer, es ist mit mir abgesprochen. Macht mir jetzt noch keine Vorwürfe, ich werde es euch jetzt erklären damit ihr hoffentlich versteht, warum ich dem zugestimmt habe.

Wir sind immer noch in unserer momentanen Situation gefangen, Isolation, keine eigenen Kriege, keine neuen Boni, kaum Spaß. Nach meinem letzten Artikel wurden die Stimmen aus der Bevölkerung lauter, warum wir denn keinen unserer Nachbarn angreifen. Ich hab eine Menge Nachrichten darüber bekommen. Ich habe versucht allen zu erklären, warum das bisher nicht geschehen ist, ich habe ihnen unsere Situation erklärt, habe ihnen die Vergangenheit, die Allianzen und das MPP-System vermittelt. Trotzdem gab es immer noch einige Leute, die einen Krieg wollten.

Dann kam vor ein paar Tagen der norwegische Präsident auf mich zu und hat nachgefragt, ob wir ihnen “unsere” Region Nordjylland für 10.000 DEM im Monat vermieten würden. Diese Anfrage hab ich dem Kongress vorgelegt, habe Maine Coon als dänische Repräsentantin informiert und nach ihrer Meinung gefragt und wir sind zu dem Entschluss gekommen, dass wir einer Vermietung nicht zustimmen. Der Ruf nach einem Krieg, wohl aufgrund des etwas unverschämten Preises, kam abermals auf, auch weil die Norweger eine Vermietung ihrer Ölregionen an uns immer kategorisch abgelehnt haben.

Deshalb hab ich mich dazu entschieden, den Kongress entscheiden zu lassen. Aufgrund unserer tollen Geschäftsordnung musste das Proposal von Präsident und Verteidigungsminister abgesegnet werden, um es nicht von vornherein ungültig zu machen.

Macht fürs Volk (oder deren Repräsentanten)

Ich werde die Entscheidung des Kongresses akzeptieren, es sieht aber so aus, als wird der Gesetzesvorschlag abgelehnt.

Ich werde nächsten Monat erneut kandidieren und suche dafür noch einige wenige Leute, die Lust haben einen Posten auszufüllen, schickt mir einfach eine PM.
