Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

quite some time has passed and I get the feeling I need to write something again. What have happened in that period?
Sadly on paper nothing really has gotten done. But as those who know how the system works, we did some progress. For the newbies who is reading this, Foreign Affairs is sometimes a complex business and consists of long persevering talks. You can't just query the Country President and agree on something in under one minute. Relationship and friendship must be proven, especially when both countries fought on opposite sides.

In our case two things are hindering us in our diplomatic talks with the Circle of Trust members.
First our pink neighbour and all time occupant ePoland and our two MPPs with eFinland and eGreece. Especially eGreece in this case is a problem since CoT is in a difficult war with them.
That does make us kind of suspicious, doesn’t it?
As for this problem it is not easy to make other believe we are not really friends with them since it is mostly in our Daily Order. But nevertheless we just kind of inherited this MPP due to our history in Terra /TEDEN.

Our neutral direction and our history in PHX and Terra makes us do look suspicious towards CoT. With some members we were friends, with some we just have a tangential connection.
Time in eRepublik is pretty relative. One month in RL can somehow mean one year in here. Countries get to be friends one month and next one they are enemies.

So, where are we right now? Circle of Trust Charter forbids member to propose a MPP with us because we have one with their enemy. The solution is to wait till we drop the one with eGreece.
It does kind of endanger our daily “DO”, but with right setting of priority as a Commander of a MU you can bypass that. If you need any help on that dont hesitate to ask our MoD via IRC or IG.

Currently we are talking with bigger members of CoT about the MPP and I think we left with a good impression. My intention is to show them that we are an open minded and kind of strong country. We may not be as powerful as ePoland and control a whole battle, but we are surely strong enough to handle some rounds!

So, be patient, the government is working on that matter. Until then you people should write more articles. Participate in MU strikes. The government doesn't have a all-round solution for everything. Also remember we kind of have a life too!

For a long time our countries remained in hostile relations but those days are gone. Recently, Polish-German relationship warmed up and today we can proudly say that our neighbours are not seen as before, as the enemy - we can safely say that it's all just memories.

Treaty works great and has given us the basis for a positive look at our relationship in the upcoming months. By ensuring the stability of our diplomacy we can take another step on the road to cooperation.

A common future? With these hopes, we look at it in our plans. Skeptics will say that this is impossible without a good mutual contacts in the past...nothing could be further from the truth. Every friendship is created from scratch. Friendship that arose between former enemies would be even more unbreakable. This is just our future, our plan and our hope. Let's show the world that it is possible and build together the future of eWorld.


On another matter we uncovered a theft among ourselves. The Org Bundeswehr has some emergency money which should be accessed when MoF or the Country President isn’t available. Unfortunately a member of the MoD accessed the Org and stole about 54000 CC. I immediately filed a ticket and reported the theft. Though the admins did not reveal any information besides answering that they gave us back the money, simultaneously Project-Dragon received a temporary ban too. My theory is, he tried to launder the money through PD. He is now banned from all channels and stripped of any access which comes with the position.

einige Zeit ist vergangen und ich denke, dass es an der Zeit ist, über die aktuelle Lage zu berichten. Was ist passiert in dieser Amtszeit?
Auf dem Papier traurigerweise nicht viel. Aber diejenigen, die wissen wie das Geschäft in eRepublik läuft, können einen Fortschritt bemerken. Neulinge sollten wissen, dass Auswärtige Angelegenheiten schwierige Situationen darstellen und oftmals sehr langwierige Gespräche stattfinden müssen. Es ist nicht möglich einfach den Landespräsidenten anzuschreiben und zu einem schnellen Ergebnis zu kommen. Ein gutes Verhältnis oder sogar eine Freundschaft zwischen zwei Ländern muss sich erst beweisen, besonders wenn diese Länder zuvor verfeindet waren.
In unserem Fall behindern uns zwei Dinge in unseren Gesprächen mit den Mitgliedern der Allianz Circle of Trust. Zunächst unser rosa Nachbar und Dauer-Besatzer Poland und desweiteren unsere beiden MPPs mit eFinnland und eGriechenland. Besonders Griechenland stellt ein Problem dar, da es sich im Krieg mit CoT befindet.
So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass CoT uns gegenüber misstrauisch ist.
Das macht es auch so schwierig anderen klarzumachen, dass Griechenland nicht wirklich unser Freund ist, obwohl es unsere Daily Order zumeist dominiert. Dennoch ist der Griechenland MPP lediglich ein Überbleibsel unserer Terra/EDEN-Historie.

Unsere neutrale Ausrichtung und unsere ehemalige Zugehörigkeit zu Terra und Phoenix lässt CoT an unserer Zukunft zweifeln. Mit manchen CoT-Nationen sind wir befreundet, mit anderen sind wir nur flüchtig bekannt. Zeit ist in eRepublik relativ. Ein Monat im echten Leben ist ungefähr mit einem Jahr in eRepublik gleichzusetzen. Zwei Länder können in einem Monat Freunde werden und im Nächsten schon wieder verfeindet sein.

Nun, wo stehen wir eigentlich genau im Moment? Die Circle of Trust Charter verbietet es ihren Mitgliedern einen MPP mit uns zu schließen, weil wir einen mit ihrem Feind haben. Dieses Problem wäre gelöst, wenn unser MPP mit Griechenland ausgelaufen ist. In gewisser Art „gefährdet“ das unsere DO, mit den richtigen Prioritätseinstellungen der Commander kann dieses jedoch umgangen werden. Falls ihr dabei Hilfe benötigt, meldet euch einfach bei unserem Verteidigungsministerium im IRC oder per Ingame-Message.

Derzeit befinden wir uns in Gesprächen mit einflussreicheren CoT-Mitgliedern und ich denke, dass wir einen recht guten Eindruck hinterlassen haben. Mein Ziel ist es, CoT zu zeigen, dass wir ein unvoreingenommenes Land sind, dass in einer speziellen Art und Weise auch sehr stark ist. Wir sind vielleicht nicht so mächtig wie Polen, das eine ganze Schlacht alleine entscheiden kann, aber wir sind gewiss stark genug, einige Runden zu gewinnen!
Seid also geduldig, die Regierung arbeitet hart daran, das beste aus der derzeitigen Situation herauszuholen. Bis dahin ist es auch eure Aufgabe mehr Artikel zu schreiben. Nehmt an Common Hits teil. Die Regierung kann nicht für alles eine Lösung haben, bedenkt, dass wir auch alle ein Leben haben!

Um zu etwas ganz anderem zu kommen: Wir haben einen Dieb in unseren Reihen dingfest gemacht. Die Bundeswehr Organisation verfügt über etwas Notfallgeld, falls Finanzminister oder Präsident nicht anwesend sind. Unglücklicherweise hat das ein Mitglied des Verteidigungsministeriums ausgenutzt und ca. 54000 CC gestohlen. Ich habe sofort ein Ticket geschrieben und die Admins über den Vorfall aufgeklärt. Obwohl aktuell noch nichts umgesetzt wurde, wurde uns versichert, dass das Geld wieder zurück auf die Organisation transferiert werde. Zeitgleich hat Project-Dragon ebenfalls einen Temp-Bann auferlegt bekommen. Ich halte es für sehr wahrscheinlich, dass über diesen Account das gestohlene Geld reingewaschen werden sollte. Wizzard wurde in allen Kanälen gebannt und besitzt nun auch keine Zugangsmöglichkeit mehr zu regierungsinternen Daten.
