In this series of articles I will outline to you my policies on various key issues. At the end of the series, the announcement on my cabinet will be made, with a departmental structure for clarity.

Finance & Industry
I would like to assert that a Bass government is a minimal government. My changes to the Education and Healthcare system, and endorsement of privately run militia, will free up a fair amount of funding, yet we still have money going places it should not be. This is called the Department of Industry. In order to ensure we can fund our military effectively, I will be downsizing all government run companies (except for military). There is no need to be running skill 0 companies - the private sector does this fine. There is no need to run training companies, or government housing companies; these are all useless, and add to the weight of a Socialist government. My Minister of Industry will be Infin, a well educated Capitalist that knows exactly how to downsize appropriately. I will be working with him closely to ensure that the right companies are shut down, and that employees have adequate information on where to get a better paying job.

Once all non-necessary, non-military, companies have been shut down, the Department of Industry will be removed and a position created for the Industrial relations role within the Department of Finance. Control of the military companies will be handed over to the Department of Defence. This is one of the many changes I will be making that streamlines the management and command/control structure within our government.

It is my goal during my term as Prime Minister to not only reduce spending, but allow us to reduce taxes as a result; and I have plans to do this.
