Poland attacks to Scandinavia

As the giants in the shores of Baltic Sea lost their colonies in Western Europe, Poland quickly turned their attention to the Scandinavian regions. After becoming clear that Poland would attack north, Asgard immediately established negotiation channels with them in order to minimize the harm caused for our alliance and congress elections.
After few days of fierce discussion and debating, Norway agreed to give Ostlandet and Vestlandet for Poland in return of them securing Norwegian congress in Svalbard region. This temporary land swap will be in action until Poland regains its territories in Western Europe. More about the issue here
There has also been negotiations between Polish and Swedish representatives, but no agreenment was reached, at least not yet.

How does this affect the big picture then?
This agreenment will ensure the long awaited congress elections for Norway. It will also effectively cut the UK's only passage to Scandinavian regions. Ultimately it means that Asgard will be able to fully concentrate their powers to exterminate the United Kingdom forces in the regions of Asgard and drive them back to their island.

Apart from Norway, also Sweden is going to be able to hold congress elections. This is due the great coordination and timing of RW's and liberating regions from Lithuanian oppressors. The most difficult situation at the moment within Asgard territories is Finland's struggle to hold its own elections. Finns have faced attacks on two fronts - Lithuania has been in the area for a while. At the moment Lithuania is attacking Lapland. Estonia disembarked to the shores of Southern Finland and advanced to Eastern Finland only moments later.

In order to have succesfull and uninterrupted congress elections, Finland needs to win the battle of Eastern Finland. Fight for Finland!

Strenghtening ties

During last week Asgard strenghtened its ties with Peru, a nation which grants a significant boost to our night damage, especially in lower divisions where the damage is most frequently needed. This of course works also vice versa - Asgard provides vital D4 damage for Peru during their night time. Therefore Sweden and Finland signed MPP's with Peru.
Sweden and Finland have also signed MPP's with Ireland, which is an extremely important step when battling against United Kingdom, who still occupies few regions in Scandinavia.
