The Government celebrates the return of Nottingham by attempting to blow each other up with fireworks

After draconian cuts to the eRep Gov Budget it was no surprise the first service Osborne had his eyes on were the joyous and treasured Appleby daily updates. Happily, after shagging his wife and blaming it on Jeremy *unt, the NHS will be bearing the blunt of austerity instead. We also managed to raise enough money to make a 2nd-rate deal with the devil to resurrect FightAndProduced. Alas we must've been shortchanged as he's happy as a flower with no ill will to any man - the gov highly recommends a deeply cynical and confrontational approach to the game to maximize community entertainment; lest we end up a utopian paradise and extremely bored...

There was in fact a major argument in a random cabinet committee, after several Taliskers, about whether we should drop the current totalitarian model of government in favour of a more liberal and socially inclusive structure that some of us genuinely believed in. After all, if it's our job to carry out government policies, shouldn't we believe in them? After realizing most of us have served under very different governments over the course of eRep, we noticed the condition for genuinely believing in government policy on a long-term basis would largely be a case of certain schizophrenia. Naturally the cabinet have refused to take tests.

Now, there’s no easy way of saying this; but unless the Argentinians bail us out, Congressional elections loom ahead on the 25th. Alas government attempts to ban them altogether provoked an angry response from Herr Admins and after a 4 hour debate about who ran and owned the eUK Gov they’d finally coughed up enough spare cash to hire a proper solicitor. The dispute continues

Alas the last week has been a bit crazy for me in real life - Amongst other things I have become an Uncle! My cabinet are united that I be reminded daily that I am still in power and thus am obliged to occasionally pretend to be governin’, will hopefully see how this new policy goes till the next carcrash election on the 5th.
