Hello AMPlifiers,

The first time I posted this it got deleted and I received my first fabulous point. But I wanted to write a little article to give a brief update on whats been going in the party.

Our Retention Department is continuing to give out supplies to our party members in need through our AMP Food and Tank Program. Party members who sign up on our forums are able to request up to 600 Health and 3q7 Weapons per day. All you have to do is post in this thread and state whether you want food, tanks, or both.

We are also in the works on getting some games up and running on both IRC and on our forums. We'll be giving away food, tanks, and cash as prizes so make sure to check the party feed and your inbox's for updates on when these events will be going down.

Recruitment is still chugging along. We have seen some ups and downs with our membership numbers which is somewhat expected in a game that is slowly dying. However, we are still contacting new players; and we are still running the AMP Battle Buddy Program, in which you and a friend whom you've recruited can both receive 10q7 weapons. All they have to do is post your name along with their forum access request in this thread.


On a side note, I'd like to give a big shout out to each of you who voted AMP in the past Congressional Elections. If you did not see Pfieffer's recent Congressional Analysis article, the AMP had the second highest voter turnout at 66%! We managed to bring in all 10 of our official Congressional candidates. An impressive feat, which I would love to see us beat in the next election cycle.

And as a final party update, we have recently added a new forum admin, Malarkey83! His past experience working as IES Director and PP has more than qualified him for the job. Players looking for forum access should now see their access request reviewed much more quickly.


I would also like to now officially announce my intent on running for a second term as AMP Party President. My current term has been largely filled with maintaining party operations, working on expanding/developing new party programs, and dealing with an inner-party issue (more on that at the end). Some of these programs will begin in the next week, such as the expansion of the AMP Food and Tank program to members outside of the party. Others are still in the developmental phase, such as the reformation of the AMP Education Department and the creation of a brand new program that comes with it. The intent of my second term, is to see these programs come to fruition, and secure their operations for the foreseeable future. My cabinet will stay largely unchanged as the current group is operating very efficiently. If anyone is interested in working as a deputy director or doing some intern work please feel free to PM me and I'll work on finding you a spot.



Now I would like to talk about a recent message sent out by now, ex-AMPer, Lauren Eilola. As some of you may know Lauren Eilola was recently ostracized from the party after allegations brought up by Israel Stevens and John Killah, you can read their articles here and here. Long story short, both her actions and the circumstances around them have led AMP party leaders to believe she is either a multi or PTO'er, hence why she was removed from the party forums. Just yesterday, she officially left the party joining LAP, but sent the following message to all AMP members except those in Congress or in Round Table positions before leaving.



In light of the recent allegations, I honestly have to know, why would attempt to bribe AMP Party members? You do know offering bribes is often one of the quickest ways to get yourself flagged do you not? Regardless it was a very poor choice, which is will probably tarnish your name just a little more.

We have been in contact with the LAP PP, TellUrGirlThx, and there is mutual agreement that players should not accept that offer. Both AMP and LAP members were PM'ed the following message by TellUrGirlThx today. If players are really in need of the $200 USD we recommend you check out some of the DoE and DoI programs in the message, instead of taking the illegitimate offer.
