Hello eCanada,

Over the past 24 hours, I have really been able to see my entire platform and candidacy come together - I am eternally grateful to all of the people who have dropped me off some kind/encouraging words, or have taken the initiative to help me out, and much much more! Thank you!

I would also like to take this time, to express my gratitude to the Canadian Paradox Party (CPP), Egalitarian Party of Independent Canadians (EPIC), Democratic Action League (DAL), and l'Union Nationale (UN)! All of these parties have gracious placed me on their "primary" ballots (i.e. have considered my mane - amongst other candidates - for nomination). Thank you to all of those parties above!

So today, we will be talking about my MILITARY PLATFORM!



My military platform, is going to consist of three key points - all of which I will go into detail with you about. (a) Strengthening our ties with our allies, (b) Aligning Canada with Terra (more with Terra), (c) An offensive/defensive plan (i.e. wars), and (d) Increasing communication methods between our major fighting organizations.




KEY PLANK #1: STRENGTHENING OUR TIES WILL AMERICA

The Canadian and American alliance ("bromance" if you will) is a strong and forceful tie - a tie which many countries around the world are jealous of (they may not show it... but everyone is jealous of our american relations 😛). I am going to make it my duty, to help strengthen our Canadian/American ties, on many levels - socially, politically, on a militaristic level, et al.

Way #1 - A strong program that the Canadian Armed Forces had, with the (several branches) of American Army, over past months, was the "soldier Exchange" program - where a few Canadian Soldiers joined the American Army, and the same number of American Soldiers, joined the Canadian Army. If elected in, I would reemphasize this program, to not only the CANADIAN ARMED FORCES, but also to THE CRIMSON ORDER, as well as HOPE - as these "exchanges" have proven to be beneficial in the past (i.e. give us new ideas, etc..)

Way #2 - In essence, I would like to continue the ideology of "being there for one another". In essence, I am hoping that during my term, we as Canadians will be able to help our American allies on their home soil (i.e. help them eradicate Spain from their soil) - the same way in which they would help us eradicate foreign soldiers on OUR SOIL. Further on this topic

Way #3 - I would also like to retain the "land swap" idea, as this has proven to be beneficial to both our eEconomies (i.e. a greater variety of "materials", resulting in a greater output of GRAIN and IRON in our country).




KEY PLANK #2: ALIGNING CANADA WITH TERRA

With the slow and steady death of EDEN, we have seen a new alliance emerge in the New World, TERRA (with its "key opposer", ONE). This alliance, has 9 involved countries - eight plus Canada - that are scattered across the eWorld (all the way from NORTH AMERICA, to EUPORE, to SOUTH AMERICA). I would like to see eCanada become more involved on the international scale, alongside TERRA!

Way #1 - I would like to start MPPing more TERRA nations. Although I can not directly say how many countries we will ally - I can assure you that we will ally some. However, I can not give a definite number until I sit down with my Minister of Finance and work out a budget.

Way #2 - The plus side of having MPPs with TERRA, is that we will then be able to fight on MORE BATTLES, located all around the eWorld. This then gives us more opportunities to organize our military forces (whom, in turn greatly stimulate our economy, with their purchases from the market, and so forth), and will also give us a chance to help our distant allies (to build a sense of community with them - a sense of teamwork, if you will).




KEY PLANK #3: AN WAR STRATEGY, AND INCREASING COMMUNICATION

If the above planks (see: "aligning with TERRA...more wars"), fall into place quickly and concisely, we will be faced with many WAR OPTIONS (i.e. Offensive and Defensive military campaigns) - and subsequently, our top fighting groups (CAF, TCO, and HOPE) will be forced to come and communicate together - all in all increasing our efficiency as a nation and fighting force!

WAY #1 - In the event that we ALLY TERRA NATIONS, the odds of getting involved in TERRA/ONE conflicts, are EXTREMELY HIGH. Now, a key nation that I want to keep "an eye" on, so to speak, is the United kingdom. At this time, they have still been very friendly to us - even though they claimed their "neutrality", by voting their way out of TERRA. In the event that we come TOGETHER WITH TERRA; this will place a great deal of pressure on the United Kingdom, and may cause them to join ONE. In which case, they will show signs of hostility towards our country. Now, when a CP is faced with hostility, he can either BACK DOWN out of the fight, or he can STAND UP and fight - me? I'm a fighter - so if the circumstances are right (i.e. we have MPPs with a decent amount of countries, etc..), I WILL FIGHT THE UNITED KINGDOM. But again, this is only if they ever become hostile towards us - if they don't, then all the power to them, let's remain allies 😉

Way #2 - In the event that my previous point (the UNITED KINGDOM) does not happen, I would then like to shift my attention towards helping other countries (after all, the only DIRECT countries we can attack, are IRELAND, THE UNITED STATES, FRANCE, and THE UNITED KINGDOM - none of which we are hostile against so far) - making our forces "go mobile" so to speak, and helping our distant allies.

Way #3 - Communication is then another issue here. We may have all these fights going on, but how effective are we truly, if we do not have any COMMUNICATION LINES between our fighting forces. In other words, if elected Country President, I will be tirelessly aiming to increase the communication bonds between the "high commanders" of our fighting forces, The Canadian Armed Forces and The Crimson Order, through means of IRC rooms, forums, et al.
