The Media Merry-Go-Round

Day 1,294, 17:15 Published in USA USA by Darkskye

After spending the weekend 2-clicking while catching up on all my recorded TV shows, I get sucked back into this game this afternoon with a vast selection of quality articles that I felt like shouting. But with so many articles, what to pick, what to pick?

So I went to my comfortable thinking chair and went "think, think, think....."

At that moment inspiration hit me after recalling an article written by our new Co-Secretary of Media, Good/Evil Chutley (I don't know which one our President Glove hired, but imho he got a great 2-in-1 deal...)

"Use your own papers to broadcast the articles you like"
-Chutley, A Serious Thought: How to Help Media

The idea is brilliant in its simplicity. Only a caveman would voice it out so perfectly, something that has been in all of our subconscious since the time we evolved to an ad-less, vote-less and sub-less society (whatever that means).

My only dilemma was that this really was not a Pony Express kinda paper. Unless, of course, I can integrate this into a game....

Therefore, it pleases me to present to you this week's habit forming game:

I have carefully selected a few articles which I saw this afternoon in my Citizen's Feeds section. If your article is not there, don't be disappointed, I probably didn't see your article yet. Feel free to post your article in the comments section so others can click to it.

In this Merry-Go-Round, I want you all to form this excellent habit of taking a look at other articles which you might not have known about, and vote/comment if you like it.

There is a short list of 7 articles below. Click on them one by one, making sure to do the following while you are there:

1. Take a look and see if you like it
2. If you like it, click VOTE.
3. If you haven't subscribed yet, and think the article was good, click SUBSCRIBE
4. PUT A COMMENT SO I CAN VERIFY YOU WERE THERE. If you don't have anything to comment on, then just say something like "Merry-Go-Rounds are fun"
5. Once you are done, go back and comment here by saying "Merry-Go-Round is Finished!" That's how I know that you participated, and that you are eligible to receive a prize.

Remember, I don't force you to vote or subscribe to a paper you don't like. So #2 and #3 are optional. However, those articles are definitely something I voted for and am subscribed to because I like it, and I think you will like it too.

Anyone who completes the Merry-Go-Round gets 1x Q5 Tank and 10x Q3 Food. Remember I will verify if you left a comment on those papers.

PLUS!
One lucky winner will get 5xQ5 Tanks and 50x Q3 Food

This Merry-Go-Round ends on Wednesday night, because that's when the raffle will be held. Good luck!

ARTICLES TO VISIT IN THE MEDIA MERRY-GO-ROUND
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
I selected these because they were the most recent 7 articles I enjoyed reading. Some are popular, some are new, but I did not include newspapers with over 500 subscribers, like Glove's Inaugural Address because no matter what, I am sure you will read it without me pointing it out 🙂. I also avoided org papers, since they already have a reader base.

Hope you enjoy reading these papers and PLEASE VOTE/SUBSCRIBE and most importantly SHOUT out articles you really like.

Chutley's Badass Cabinet
Kishvier's article on Food prices
Gnilrap's discussion about setting boundaries
Civil Anarchy's American Idol
ElmieJr's People from around the world
kmbasketball3's lulz acceptance speech
J.W.Bullwinkle's quizzes

Remember, once you are done, go and comment below, letting me know you have finished the Media Merry-Go-Round!

Shout like there's no tomorrow!
