From the archives of eCanada part 12 (final): Let's get some mayhem in here!

This will be the final chapter in the Archives of Canada series. After this episode, I'll be leaving my canadian Citizenship wich will make it impossible for me to writte anymore.

But before I give you my final À Dieu! Let's get on with the show!



The story this time will go around Rolo's presidency and the month the remainder of the month of September.

I would not be doing my job properly however if I didn't came to talk about the whole Mayhem project that was around a few weeks before rolo came to power.

Know however that there is a lot of speculation around Project Mayhem, for this very reason I will not confirm that everything is true, but it is rather the most plauside assessment I'm making based on the evidence I had back then.



Project Maybe had a few goals, it was supposed to achieve unity, much like Norsefire prime belief (at the very least the one from the movie). In order to do this, they would try to make a secret circle of Party president that would carefully choose which congressman and president would be elected. This method was believed to be the key to stop the never ending shenanigans in congress.



While I can't say that election weren't rigged in more than one case, this measure would have completely taken a hit at the democratic system. But like I said, there was already strong evidence of collusion prior to this, this collusion here was simply more organised.

Another goal of the project (a more noble one at that) was to give free weapon to the citizenry, just not the one in the two main group of the time, TCO and the CAF. The initiative would give weapon to any available canadian citizens that could have logged on IRC. It was a noble goal indeed, and such initiative have never been truly put into action until the advent of MU and crazy supplies capabilities.

This said, there was also a few plans in motion, namely disbanding the CAF. Althought this is not something that was carried to the end, it was in their agenda to some degree. This is one of the measure that had many high commanders freak at the thought that the president himself would disband the army. Wheter he would have carried out that measure is impossible to know today.

Secrecy was everything in this project. This is why they had the channel #secretz to discuss these things, even today, wheter it is for souvenir sake or satyre, #secretez is an emblem for conspiracy, and tin foil hat wearer. But the secrecy could only be maintained for so long. In front of the gigantic task of their reforms, they had to invite several key players in order to set their plan into motion. And the more people they brought on board, the more likely a leak would be.

In the end it is not quite clear who was in there. We know for a fact that numerous high profile player were there and participating, like Jbdivinus (who selfproclaimed himself in charge), Muglack (was inactive during the event), Rolo Tahmasee, Acacia Mason, Addy Lawrence, Ozymandias malfozic and many others. A lot of these people have also claimed that jbdivinus was simply crazy and they went in there to see how he would make a farce out of himself. Others said they were simply ''spying'' on them to denounce them, like Acacia Mason, who has always said he was a mole.

What went in there is purely speculation however as we never saw the end of it, only pages and pages of log. Those log eventually got leaked into the hands of Wes Lewis who was attorney general at the time. He went on with his crazy wes lewis approach, talk to 1-2 people, don't verify your facts too much, and then start some trouble!

In the face of the file made by Wes Lewis, Angry Mob Man immediatly started an illegal impeachement without any 24 hour debate. During the next 15 hours, Rolo was away, and never got to defend himself. Congressmen massively voted in favor of the impeachement. So when Rolo came back to his account, he found himself impeached without any way of cancelling the whole fiasco. And so on the way to being illegaly impeached, he decided to take himself a cut of the whole gov budget and took thousands of gold into his private account. To do this he destroyed the ministry of industry ( a crooked Citizen B scheme), no matter how poor of an investment it was, it was still a canadian property. Having taked several thousands of gold, Rolo Built himself an economic empire and became the most influencial monetary power in the country. This economic empire is regularly putted to use for various use like vote bribery, as rolo himself as never hidden to anyone that he was using bribe.



After the impeachement, an inept Karsten Skeries as been litteraly 2 clicking while an emergency comittee was putted in place to regulate the country. The button pushing was really all that he would do for about 2 weeks.

Following these events, Rolo has been banned from #ecan and the forum. This might change as of today as he has just been pardonned for everything he has done.

This is what mainly happened during the month of september, I will leave it to someone else to fill in the blank from september 2010 to today. I did my part concerning this. It's been a fun ride, but everything comes to an end. This can be considered my final article in the Canadian media.

I haven't been as much relevant as I have been once, but still, it's an hard decision considering all the time I spent here. I won't go on about the reason why I'm leaving, but Canada made a decision today. And sadly that decision doesn't fit with my role play moral compass. That is all I'm going to say on the matter.
