[UKGOV] CP: Ministries, Forum Games and TWO Meetings

Greetings UK,

Time for a government update I think, so lets get on with it shall we. First of all, I know I said more information would be coming from the TWO meeting, however it has been postponed for a week. So ultimately nothing has yet changed there. The same issues are still to be discussed.

I have also recently been meeting and talking with some nations where our relationship has not been so good in the recent past, but they are now pro-TWO and we would like to see where talking can lead us. This will be an ongoing process and I will leave the continuation of this discussion in the hands of my successor.

Now, onto the Ministry updates:

Ministry of Defence
The Ministry has been hard at work providing up to date orders and advice on the recent competitions. Remember to keep watching their newspaper for the latest orders and advice.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
There hasn't been much going on the MoFA world and this is why, alongside 2 out of our 3 deputies leaving the MoFA, there hasn't been much of a media presence by the MoFA recently. However, rest assured, we have been working; mainly on MPP renewals and improving our diplomatic relationships with other countries. Hopefully next months CP/MoFA team will keep up the work that we've started this month.

Ministry of Home Affairs
The Ministry of Home Affairs has been working hard to revolutionise itself over the past few days bringing in some new ideas to carry on into next term. The under-Ministries have been putting in as much effort as they can to get us back as one of the top ministries after our slow initial progress. So far this week we have managed to shift out an article every day with the hopes of maintaining this new trend! If you are at all interested in asking myself and some of my under-Ministers a few questions then please drop by on IRC tomorrow at 8pm GMT!

~~We’ve landed on a strange planet. The oxygen seems to be breathable…..~~ Basically, at the Ministry Of Education. I’m republishing note-worthy guides. You may be asking ~~Why are you so lazy?~~ Why I’m doing this. So I’m going to explain myself in this update. Unless new features come out. There’s probably already been a guide for the thing you want to know. So if the information is reliable and still correct. Why can’t we just republish them? It seems a waste to re-write an article. When we already have one right there!

Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance is hard at work investing our cash and keeping our profits ticking over. We recently moved around 3000 gold and 130k cc into the Orgs so we can invest them and make more money. These were in the national accounts, and this moving netted us an instant profit!
