State of Emergency, World War arrives in North America

Final push to eliminate Mexico
Despite Mexico having 7 allies now, (Hungary, Chile, Argentina, Switzerland, Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Brazil) Within the next 2.5 hours Mexico will be defeated and eliminated from the game.

EDIT: Mexico will most likely overturn our current invasion.

Portugal's Invasion of Occupied Mexico
Portugal has 8 allies, Brazil, Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Iran...
Mexico retreated from the South East in order for Portugal to attack with its allies. The President has ordered to ignore the invasion for now in order to eliminate Mexican resistance. This is finally a PEACE intervention into the Mexican War. The world war has finally come to our domain. What will happen after tomorrow is uncertain. Portugal (PEACE) will most likely attempt to take more territory from us with the aid of her allies. Can we focus on Portugal's attack? Maybe, maybe not. Most of her allies are already engaged with Romania and other Atlantis members.

The presidents strategy appears to focus on Portugal once Mexico is out of the way. Hopefully this strategy will work because there is no other way.


Atlantis Crisis
When the US declared war on Mexico it failed to contact Atlantis 48 hours prior despite the vague details of the charter as to how the US would inform her allies. They took a vote on a punishment and decided that the US had to pay a fine of 100 gold to each Atlantis member (even though such a punishment was not inflicted on Romania in the past) This act clearly does not make sense.

We are in the middle of a giant world war between Atlantis and PEACE.
We are actively fighting against PEACE in the name of Atlantis, yet our own allies are treating us as if we are the enemy (or a occupied slave). This punishment measure against us will only push the US away from the Atlantis Treaty towards neutrality. Which I'm sure PEACE would be happy to see.

I foresee in the future the US leaving Atlantis and establishing our own alliances with individual nations. No more power blocs for us. PEACE's policy on us will most likley stay hostile though. So don't expect better relations.

Romanian War
Romania is being defeated on the front lines by Indonesia while Hungary is taking advantage of the situation at home. Romania is also being crippled with multiple uprisings.
