Until philosophers are kings, or the kings and princes of this world have the spirit and power of philosophy, and political greatness and wisdom meet in one, and those commoner natures who pursue either to the exclusion of the other are compelled to stand aside, cities will never have rest from their evils — no, nor the human race, as I believe — and then only will this our State have a possibility of life and behold the light of day. 1.

I would like you to consider me as a candidate for the eUS Congress. I’ve only met a few people that have served, but I hear frustration in their words. I would like to see what it is all about, firsthand. And if there is a chance that I can be a positive influence on our nation, then so be it.

If I were pressed to put together a presentation or to establish a platform, then I must first continue to learn our history. As I learn more about where we’ve been, I will be able to more accurately describe where we would like to be. I’m not going to give you my qualifications at this time, but suffice it to say that I have a brain and I’m not afraid to use it.
