Introduction

Recently, I took stock of our player support schemes and baseline activity of the Government... It turned out to be quite a list for anyone to remember without a Compendium and still does.

It’s time for version 1.1 to reflect some recent changes in our Government and community. I’ve kept the structure so citizens new and old can navigate to a relevant section with greater ease.

All feedback continues to be welcomed it is somewhat challenging to cover all aspect of Government concisely and comprehensively. What's missing, what doesn't need including .etc, what's not clearly explained.

1 Pilot Reward Scheme/s

1.1 Joint Christmas Air Programme and eUK Air Cadets Programme Rewards Rules

• We will be paying out 6cc per air kill with the following limitations:
• You get 6cc per air kill, regardless of the battle.
• There will be a cap of 2,500 kills (15,000 cc) per week for each individual
• Only eUK citizens of level 20 or higher are eligible
• You must do at least 100 kills for the week to qualify
• "Air Cadets" (eUK pilots outside the National rank Top 50) will receive an additional 3cc per air kill on issue of the Christmas Air Programme rewards.

2 Fighter Reward Scheme/s

2.1 British Armed Forces Q7 Weapon Rewards Scheme

• We will award 5% of your weekly ground kills in Q7 Weapons in all ground divisions with the following limitations:
• There will be a cap of 2,500 kills (125 Q7s) per week for each individual
• Only eUK citizens of level 20 or higher are eligible
• You must do at least 300 kills for the week to qualify
• You should do a division dependant about of weekly damage too
(500,000 Div I; 10,000,000 Div II; 40,000,000 Div III; 300,000,000 Div IV)
• To support UK weapon producers supplies will be brought from the UK Marketplace*
*when UK marketplace prices are closely aligned to world marketplace prices)

3 Joint Pilot / Fighter Scheme/s

3.1 Bounty Scheme - Open Season
The eUK government, in conjunction with other players, is offering rewards for protecting our medals from non-eUK players, with the exception of our campaign-specific TW partners. It is expected that these TW partners will join us and help us turn the battle when needed.

In accordance with this effort, eliminating third-party players who have achieved under 40k in air and 150m on ground is considered a civic duty, and can be claimed for a reward of £5k. Reclaiming third-party players who have achieved above 40k in air and 150m on ground will be rewarded with the original bounty of £10k.

Furthermore, in the event of reclaiming against third-party players who have achieved a run above 80k in air and 300m on ground, the bounty will be doubled to £20k.

Please note that a new cap will be added to the scheme with each eUK pilot may claim a maximum of 10 bounties per month to support scheme administration and affordability.

Please contact the newly named organisation Strategic Command for claims and someone in your Government team will get back to you to issue the bounty.

4 New Player / Player Retention Programme/s

4.1 Mentorship

All players can apply for Mentorship, where experienced players volunteer to mentor new players, helping them understand the game mechanics, guiding them through the early stages of the game, and answering any questions they may have.

5 Economic Support Scheme/s

5.1 eUK Food Relocation Programme

The eUK has 12 regions, which is great for hosting training wars with allies while offering citizens fantastic domestic opportunities to produce and sell products/raw materials.

However it is important to let new citizens know which our economic regions are - those that are safe to establish holdings in as the Government ensures continuous production in them.

We also need to support the relocation of existing companies from holdings in our “training war zone” to holdings in our “economic zone” when required.

5.2 New eUK Food Holdings Scheme

The eUK Government will also offer grants to citizens who may want to create new holding companies and factories in the UK to produce food / FRM.

If you are interested in a grant to create new holding companies and factories in the UK to produce food / FRM please send a message.

Please note the eUK Government will seek Congressional approval prior to the issue of any grants.

The only eligible regions to create new holding companies in with be the eUK's Economic Zone Regions - Yorkshire & Humberside, Scotland and North East of England

5.3 Bank of England Monetary Market Trust

As a reminder, the Ministry of Finance is taking advantage of the gold price on the monetary market by operating a Bank of England Trust for citizens and allies to invest in.

Eight citizens have invested into the Trust allowing the MoF to place monetary market offers from a number of eUK Government Organisation reserved for use by the Bank of England. The monetary market profits have been agreed to be split 60% to the citizens and the remaining 40% for the Treasury to reinvest/store in reserves.

5.4 Training Ground Loans

Upgrading your strength buildings is the best way to earn income as it allows you to receive Super Soldier medals much quicker. A Q4 Weights Room & Q4 Climbing Center (without any contract training) earns the most money of any training/contract combination. Together they will earn you 13.38g/month (0.446g/day) after you pay the daily training.

During promotional periods training ground upgrades are reduced;
To upgrade your Weights Room, Climbing Centre, Shooting Range or Special Forces Centre it costs 45% less for each incremental rise in quality.




The Government can support upgrades today with a loan of up to 10 Gold, to citizens to help them upgrade their strength buildings during the training grounds promotion.

5.5 Monetary Market fishing Guide - Republish

Monetary Market (MM) fishing is not new and there are many fine guides, however here is a brief guide as a refresher and to introduce the concept to younger citizens who may not be aware of it.

At the current market rate it is most optimal for a citizen to invest £10,000.00 into a MM fishing. There is two reasons for this;
1) The current and fairly long-standing exchange rate for 1GBP has been 0.001 Gold.
2) The daily gold limit for most citizens is 10 gold.
Therefore the maximum currency you may sell at the current exchange rate is £10,000.00 for 10 gold.

It will take around 10 days for your currency offer to sell on the monetary market. This will give you 10 gold. It is worth noting that the amount of currency you sell can vary greatly, sometimes all the currency you put on the MM will be bought and sometimes you don't sell any. Offers do expire on the MM, however, any currency that does not sell is returned to you

Place this 10 gold onto the monetary market at the current exchange rate (around publications this was 1 gold for £1014.00). This will result in the 10 gold selling for £10,140.00. Once you subtract your initial investment of £10,000 you will have generated a profit on your investment of £140.00 for minimal effort.

Currently not a fantastic return however a useful skill to maintain for the future.

5.6 Work and Houses (updated extract from UK Tutorial )

". . .You can make a lot of money by getting a job. So click the green “get a job” button to be taken to the job market.

You can also get to this page at any time by clicking “market” then “job market” on the blue bar at the top of the screen. You should regularly check the job market to see if there is a better paying job, as this will be your main source of income in local currency. The market shows your gross salary (before taxes) and the amount you will be paid (after taxes).

Choose the highest paying job and click apply.

Now back on the company page you can see you have a job! Note you can resign at any time, so if you find a better wage elsewhere, feel free to quit. . ."

Endless opportunities of employment

Houses (Figures adjusted to reflect today's market)

". . . Houses come in five levels, which the game refers to as ‘quality’, players shorten this to Q; so houses are available from Q1 to Q5. Each gives you a boost to your maximum health, and also generates something called “overtime points”, one for each hour your house is activated. This means that for every house you have active, you can work another time every 24 hours.

Tip: Many parties and military units offer discounted or free houses, so check to see if you are eligible before you go any further: you could save some money!

Now most houses are expensive, but a Q1 house is relatively cheap. There is one for sale in the UK at the time this tutorial was updated for 16,994.00 currency. Our salary after tax is 28,967.54 currency a week, so it pays for itself and the account would make 11,973.54 currency profit just from having the house active. A good deal in other words; but not only do you gain currency, the house will allow you to regenerate energy quicker, and also boosts the total energy I can hold. A Q1 house gives you 2 additional energy regeneration every 6 minutes, and increases your energy bar by 50

Tip: House prices vary with the market, as do wages. You may earn more or less than at the time of this account, but the relative benefit should remain. Q1 houses are always useful to have. Other quality houses generally are not worth it as a new account: they are mainly used to improve the amount of energy storage. Older players use this benefit to help get medals for getting the most damage in a battle (Battle Hero medal) . . ."

Using your House

. . .To use your house go to your storage (My places -> Storage). . . When you hover over the house it shows the benefits, and a little power sign. Click the sign enter activation mode, then click the green arrow to activate the house. This methodology can be used with other things such as boosters and accelerators: which we won’t use now, but, will be introduced at a later date. All houses last 1 week and will give you slightly more energy regeneration, a boost to your total energy and the overtime points as previously discussed. . ."



5.7 Help to buy - New Players Only

The theory of eligibility is that if new citizens are working a minimum of 5/7 days then they'd be given the cash to buy a house. Theoretically with the overtime they would have enough to then buy the next house plus profit. With current wages and Q1 house prices the incentive to use Q1 house should require little Government nudging however it's still good to help.

6 Government Activity

6.1 Training Wars
Introduction
The UK has eleven Direct Training Wars. A training war is where the military module is used by two countries in mutual agreement to fight each other in a controlled environment to allow countries to grow the Military or Aircraft rank of their soldiers and pilots. It also gives soldiers and pilots opportunities to earn individual gold from battle hero, campaign hero and sky hero medals.

Set Orders
Currently all UK training wars are “Defender always win” or “Ping-Pong” where the country defending wins and the country attacking loses. Regions never change control until it is time to reset determination.

Reset Determination
Explanation of determination
When a region is kept under foreign occupation, the people’s determination to overthrow the oppressors increases over time. This leads to a determination bonus that multiplies the influence in battles against the oppressor.
When a resistance war is started, the influence of each soldier fighting for the resistance is multiplied with the determination bonus.
Influence represents your impact on the domination bar in battles. The determination bonus only multiplies your influence, NOT your damage and rank points. In other words, players will still contribute the same amount of damage for their true patriot or battle hero medals, but their influence against the opposing side is bigger.

Government and your role in region changes to reset determination
Government will set clear orders when training wars regions are required to change hands to “reset determination” and when to support resistance wars

The tools to organize a resistance war ("RW") appear for all citizens who are located in a conquered region. You and nine other citizens can support a resistance war. You all receive the Resistance hero achievement if the region is liberated.

Government can only ask that you don’t support these and let you know when these can be supported.

Tax Revenue returns
As these training wars are in mutual agreement all tax revenue collected from occupation is returned.

6.2 200% weapons bonus in Scotland

Our Government is committed to our citizens who have holding companies in Scotland to have access to your 200% weapons bonus. To meet this commitment we invite a country with a 200% weapon bonus to occupy Scotland and not hold a training war with them as that would prevent “Work as Manager” in Scotland.

We waive the need for our Scotland partners to return taxes and as they are helping us maintain a high weapon bonus in the region (plus defend an occasional RW) and pay the cost for the airstrike to arrive in Scotland.

Also unlike our training war regions, we have a limited pool of nations we can invite to Scotland.

The scheme really is for the UK citizens who produce in Scotland to continue to produce them locally rather than to generate additional tax revenue as due to the way WAM is calculated and paid there is little difference to the UK’s economy wherever UK citizen’s work as managers.

6.3 Resource Concession agreements and RCF returns

The governments of Spain and the UK hold an agreement to an Iron Concession.

Spain will receive the Iron resource (from Yorkshire and Humberside) in exchange for 1% of Spain’s daily Weapons industry GDP with a 85% cashback for Spain.
The final monthly amount that the UK will keep from the concession will be the greater of the two following amounts: 15% of the resource fee paid by Spain (plus applicable taxes as shown above) or £130k.

The governments of Spain and the UK hold an agreement to a Fish Concession.

Spain will receive the Fish resource (from North East of England) in exchange for 1% of Spain’s daily Food industry GDP with a 85% cashback for Spain.
The final monthly amount that the UK will keep from the concession will be the greater of the two following amounts: 15% of the resource fee paid by Spain (plus applicable taxes as shown above) or £75k.

6.4 Monetary market activity to generate additional revenue beyond our taxable income

23 Organisations placing currency for gold offers and gold for currency offers to generate a small profit. The amount of profit is small on a national scale however if you invest a large amount of the country reserves cautiously into the activity you can generate a good additional revenue beyond our taxable income

6.5 Foreign Affairs

The responsibility for managing the country's relations with other countries is spread between the County President and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Each act as a diplomat, representing the country in negotiations and discussions with other countries' representatives. They work to promote UK interests and neutrality. They may also be involved in economic negotiations, such as trade agreements. Our Foreign Affairs team works closely with the country's Congress and military leaders to ensure the best interests of the country are being represented in foreign affairs. Foreign Affairs requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and an understanding of the game's political landscape.

6.6 Epic Battles for training

National Epics for training and rank growth are somewhat run on a very ad-hoc basis and would be good to provide more often or regularly to enable increase opportunity to increase rank (especially Military Rank).

If we really want to get organised, we'd only need a few Legend XX with Maverick Packs and we could raise them in lower divisions more efficiently. Although that would require those looking to grow military rank quickly having Maverick Packs at the same time so we'd need to be super organised at times.

6.7 Companion to Medal Runs for Fighters and Pilots

Reminder of medal run guidelines agreed between Government and Congress

Government subsidies may be suspended for fighters who don't respect other UK players’ medal runs, currently whoever's first at 80 million in Division IV and respecting local divisional fighters' claim to a medal for completing their daily orders Division I, II and III.

Government subsidies may be suspended for pilots who don't respect other UK players’ medal runs, currently whoever's first at 20k in Air.

The levels were agreed to give newer/weaker players a bit of a chance and get their share of the medals in our twelve training wars currently coordinated.

It’s hoped that recognising a level of common respect even in our would-be rivals should encourage people to stay more and generally make the place nicer to ‘game’ in.

If you feel you’ve been robbed of a fair medal run then contact Minister of Defence, Country President or Prime Minister with the details (including any screenshots as evidence) and the incident will be investigated which may lead to the offending pilot's Government subsidies being suspended.

If you find your Government subsidies have been suspended and would like to appeal against the suspension then contact Minister of Defence or Country President to begin the process.

These Government subsidies are in existence to help all UK citizens grow our military ranks and with twelve training wars currently coordinated it should be easier than ever to respect another fighters' medal run and gain battle hero medals in abundance. So ideally we'd have no fighters' subsidies suspended.
