[Dept. for Education] - Aircraft Rank Development Guide
Department for Education
This guide offers advice on optimising aircraft rank development, earning Sky Hero medals, and utilising Epic Air Round Battles to accumulate Prestige Points for better resource development.
While I must acknowledge that there are more experienced pilots worldwide, I have reached the rank of Air Commodore* and aim to provide some guidance to the UK pilots.
Increasing your aircraft rank is crucial for the success of your country.
Let's see what strategies I can offer.
Increasing Aircraft Rank
Focus on dealing high air damage in battles to increase your Aircraft Rank.
Battle against your country's Natural Enemy to gain a 10% damage boost, reducing the hits required and saving resources. However, always follow orders set by the Ministry of Defense.
Understanding “Weekly Challenge” Epic Battles and use other Epic Battles:
Air Round Epic Battles are high-damage battles that earn double Prestige Points and double gold rewards for Sky Hero medals.
Participate in Epic Battles whenever possible to significantly contribute to your Prestige Points and enhance your weekly challenge rewards. Pay special attention to Epic Battles organised on Tuesdays at the start of the weekly challenge, as they increase your energy recovery rate early in the weekly challenge period, allowing you to have more energy throughout the week to earn more rewards and Sky Hero medals.
Manage resources and Energy levels effectively by using Energy recovery rewards and other energy-related items to participate consistently throughout the week.
Join the t.me/epicsair telegram group for notifications on air round epics.
Understanding Damage Boosters, Rank Boosters, and Damage Accelerators:
Utilise "+50%" or "+20%" Damage boosters to temporarily increase your hitting power.
Note that the 10% Natural Enemy damage bonus doesn't affect rank points, only your damage.
Use "10%" and "20%" Air Rank Points boosters for a temporary increase in air rank points.
Take advantage of damage accelerators to deploy damage more rapidly, especially important to combined with damage and air rank boosters.
AIM-92 Stingers:
AIM-92 Stingers have a durability of 3 hits per Stinger and grant a flat 1000 Air damage per hit (boosted to 1100 with the Elite Citizen bonus).
Switch to "No weapon" if the round is unimportant or you don't intend to use Stingers.
Energy Centers
Building a substantial energy pool or having a sufficient number of energy bars is crucial for maximising your damage output.
Active houses add recoverable energy to your pool. Higher-quality houses provide more energy. Do consider which houses are affordable based on your playstyle and strategies employed.
Being a resident of a region grants you an additional +50 Energy from the Central Park.
Consider purchasing Energy Centers from the special items shop using gold or loyalty points.
Packs, such as the Power Pack, provide an Energy Center and additional Energy restoration per 6 minutes.
Blitzkrieg Pack offers a +2000 Energy Center, ideal for Sky Hero hunting, and 5x Damage Accelerators.
Earning Sky Hero Medals
Start early and aim to hit from the first few seconds of the battle. Check if you are hitting alone and can deal more than 20k - 30k Air damage without competition, increasing your chances of securing the Sky Hero medal.
Be cautious if another player starts hitting with you. Assess their experience level and Sky Hero medals. If they are a highly skilled and experienced Sky Hero farmer or have a high level, consider stepping down to save resources.
Don't snip or steal other pilot's sky hero medals, like you they are employing strategies to optimise their aircraft rank development
Weekly Challenge Rewards
The Weekly Challenge offers various rewards based on accumulated Prestige Points, including Energy recovery, Factory Reset Tokens, Storage upgrades, Moving tickets, Damage boosters, Small bombs, Large Storage, and Energy bars.
As you progress and accumulate more Prestige Points, the rewards become more valuable.
The Prestige Hunter achievement rewards the top 100 players with additional gold rewards, depending on placement.
Government and other player support schemes
Keep an eye out for any Government or other player support schemes such as the [MoD] Christmas Air & Air Cadet Programme which offer supplies for free or further reward you with supplies based on your activity.
Whether Using Packs or Not:
The Power Pack provides an Energy Center and additional Energy restoration per 6 minutes, boosting fighting capabilities.
The Blitzkrieg Pack is suitable for intense Sky Hero hunters, offering a massive Energy Center and Damage Accelerators.
Consider War & Combat Stashes for rank points or bonus gold when actively hunting for Sky Hero medals.
Remember, success in the game can be achieved without spending real money, but packs and strategic resource use can enhance your gameplay experience. Adapt these strategies to your playstyle and goals.
Conclusion
By blending the strategies of optimising through Air Round Epic Battles, earning Sky Hero medals, and accumulating Prestige Points, you can increase your Aircraft Rank and dominate in the “weekly” epic battles.
Utilise effective hitting strategies, participate consistently, and manage resources wisely to achieve high Prestige Points and earn valuable rewards.
Adapt these strategies to your own playstyle and goals, and good luck on your journey to becoming an ace in the sky!

I would welcome feedback and comment on any strategies or guidance I missed from fellow pilots.

- If you are a new player, focus on ground battles as they are most of time empty so you can acquire gold for buying energy centers(which are not cheap), upgrading your TG and developing your companies
New players should forget about TG upgrades. They never will reach the level of others who are playing for years. New players should take the one hit BHs in low divs and improve their air rank to get as fast as possible to a decent level. Gold should be saved for EB promos and special packs which contain stingers and air boosters. Also they shouldn`t buy companies at the beginning. They get for free food and weaps. Older players or the gov will donate them those items.
>Check if you are hitting alone and can deal more than 30k Air damage without competition, increasing your chances of securing the Sky Hero medal.
Whilst 30k should secure the medal, realistically most will leave you alone after 20k due to the current run guidelines
I've adjust the guide to reference the 20k, which is in the current medal run guides. Sometimes it feels a bit low however yes, it's a perfectly reasonable strategy to employ in the pursuit of sky hero medals o7
Summary
Fight lots. Activity is key.
Fight in Epic battles over non-epics.
Activate boosters for big battles (ie when using all energy rather than a spare 100 here ans there.
Also
Make use of free supplies from the government's various schemes
Great summary and good shout to mention our Government Schemes. I've briefly updated the article to make a direct reference to schemes. o7
Regarding stingers:- there is still a bug in erep when switching to stingers, if you only require a specific dmg level and stop deployment the missiles are still activated even though you may have switched weapon. I always now shoot the minimum amount to confirm.
This assuming you have enough energy/missiles.

The idea is buying EB as much as possible from event, use the energy bars in air epic every week to get maximum recovery , collect gold from sky hero medal, then use it for buying EB in the next event, plus don't forget to have PP booster every month from spin event
Sorry, I replied below instead of directly to your comment o7
Thank you, Noel
I can't believe I forgot about your guide! I've updated the article to include a link to your Pilot Life Cycle. It's an amazing resource for all pilots o7
Weekly challenge and first epic: Don`t do the whole weekly in the first epic of the week. Get to 20k pp thus you get fast to max recover. If you do more than that in the first epic you will lose a lot of EBs which you can`t recover during the rest of the week.
useful info, voted
Very useful article o7
Congrats 👏

nice article
Ohhh !
regarding "Note that the 10% Natural Enemy damage bonus doesn't affect rank points, only your damage."
while the 10% bonus doesn't apply to rank points it does apply to Protector points.
And Blitzkrieg packs give 4000 Energy Center (old school was 2K - but with the energy bar change awhile ago all energy centers were considered doubled)
A note on the much undervalued influence booster - they have 2 uses
1) to help win wars you want to win - the 10% or 20% increases the influence on the wall the same as if you did that much more damage
2) if there is a CO the influence booster will increase the amount you earn.
