Voted - Infin as an ANP member who is also a Dropbear I've just about had enough of the personal attackjs, back biting etc. Binda stuffed up and was punished (and I agreee this isn't the first time that has occured) but get over it and move on.

The culture of eAus seems to revolve around rewarding improper behaviour and abuse of position. If she was punsished and that WAS the end of it, that would be an excellent commendable outcome, but rewarding bad behaviour, by then promoting again is not leadership. So be it...

Part of the minimum standard of being a dropbear is not being landlocked, it is the case for all of acuk and dropbears.
Machinemadnes and ezekiel thomas resigned there senate seats so as not break the rules.
But the rules about being landlocked and a dropbear don't count for binda33. WHY....

Um, SC. you were the dropbear marshal a couple of months ago yet were still landlocked.

binda33 is not the only AAR member to get q5s, during the WA battle many AAR members were given Q5s.

Correct I was a Marshall of the dropbears, BUT I was a soldier in the AAR and received my weapons allocation from the AAR.
She is a fighting soldier of the dropbears and a senator it is not allowed.

I rules of engagement specify that in the case of the defence of our nation then all FM would receive the best weapons available and as such there is no problem with Binda33 or anyone else of that rank receiving those weapons. Binda33 is not in the AAR she is in the dropbears.

Marshalls are not the issue. Anyone can be a marshall irrespective of whichever unit they fight in.
Its being in an active unit of the dropbears and being a senator(landlocked)

So your problem is that she was an active soldier of the dropbears for the 5 whole days she wasn't our marshall?

No for the last 2 weeks she has been an active soldier of the dropbears and a senator(landlocked) it is a rule that has been in place for 3 months, it is not a new rule and members of the services have had to move to the AAR against there wishes. Members of the dropbears have recently resigned there position as a senator to continue being a dropbear. Binda33 has chosen to do both and snub the rules and been allowed to snub the rules again WHY.

The culture of ANP seems to revolve around mudslinging and using the victim card. I am very dissapointed, after all the mudslinging on the forum when it was up, it seems to look like that was not enough. And if you are using a ANP org be man enough to use your name.

I was writing it on behalf of the ANP as Party President, I freely admit I wrote it.

This comment by scotty sums up pretty much what is wrong with Australia, don't pick on my mates or we will all leave. Its juvenile and childish threat to stop any legitimate censure of Binda for doing something wrong. Cronyism is ripe and ever present in our upper echelons and sadly is only getting worse.

To Mack, how does the use of Government orgs that are for military use not involve you? Weren't they AAR and DB orgs? What if they had been FP'd and you had lost them? Oh thats right it doesn't concern you because it was Binda.

Your seeming to get the line between the military, government and your party horribly blurred.

Honestly, while I don't support his tactics, I do support Infin's arguments. Personally, I'd take it up with an official and work to expunge the miscreants from their high-ranking positions, rather than write idiotic and harsh articles aimed at no one in particular, simply to sound enlightened.

That all being said, I find the behaviors in question highly suspect, and support further investigation, rather than this 'forgive and forget' methodology all of Binda's defenders seem to be suggesting.

Just for your information, it was Cottus Arci as PM who said that any Marshal may remain as part of their unit. I was landlocked in ACUK (and not the only landlocked Leader) at the time, and he made the decision then that Leaders in the Military should stay with their unit.

It would be nice if the ANP would take these things through the proper channels rather than broadcast their ignorance and bias in public.

How is reporting a series of facts to the public, ignorance and bias? ANP is just trying to get out for all to read about how the little mates brigade operates in eAus.

It's sad that people are trying to defend binda like she has done nothing wrong.

It absolutely amazes me that people actually defend binda everytime she breaks the law.

Everyone has the attitude "binda is our friends, she can do what she likes" But if someone who they don't like does something as little as farting "OMG BAN, KICK FROM POSITIONS OMG"

Sir Constant, i'd like to see just where abouts you got your '2 weeks' of active soldiering comes from. Xavier Griffith fired Binda from her position as Dropbear Marshall a grand total of 9/10 days ago depending on whether you go by eRep days or rl days. She was reinstated after the elections which were maybe 4/5 days ago...

That leaves a grand total of anywhere between 6 and 4 days where Binda was not our leader and thusly in the wrong. If you can prove Binda recieved DB weapons on any one of those 6 days you have a case, but I still think you are trying to enforce the word of the law rather than the law itself. In all honesty, nobody gives a fuck if Binda recieved the Dropbear Q1's for 6 days or recieved the AAR Q1's for 6 days. It all amounts to the same thing in the end.

First off... Politics and Military shouldnt have been brought together in the first place. Next, the problem with the military is not that its some kind of "mates club" where people get to break rules where they like, the problem is there are no concrete rules.

We'd all like to think the Dropbears and ACUK were uniform, but the problem is neither is implied to allow high ranking soldiers who happen to also be Polititians. To leave these people in the AAR where they're going to get minimum support is stupid, so rules get bent. And where one rule gets bent, more follow.

The final problem is for reasons unknown, people have forgotten... THIS IS JUST A GAME!!! chillax youse guys...

Binda has misused her power and is corrupt. It's simple.

For others in power to defend her actions is inexcusable. It's even worse that people like infin and the ANP get attacked from raising legitimate concerns about her behaviour.

eAussies want democracy not cronyism!
