The Long and Winding Road

Since becoming an eUSA Congressman, I have been reading about three times as much as I did before the election. Proposals and ideas of the other Congressmen, as well as a nice spike in my own personal inbox, keeps me busy throughout the day. In fact, the one thing I seem to read less of is the newspapers of the eUSA.

Sure - I still make it an obligation to read the newspapers of certain sources, such as The Federalist Papers, the DoD Orders, and one of my favorite short informative papers, 2-Clicker Morning Coffee by Zheng He. I've also been caught up on some other papers of Congresspeople - Shining in the Darkness by Astra Kat G, Appeal To Reason by Speaker of the House KillingTime, and the paper which will be renamed by Rheinlander.

Yesterday's insanity about Gaius's account getting hacked somehow brought me back to the eAmerican media. And after all was said and done and eUSA was made right by the admin gods, I continued to surf through the channels of the media. That was when I stumbled upon an interview with KillingTime by Devan Kronos in his paper, Hephaestus' Anvil.

6. How have some of the newer members of congress been working out?

We have a truly awesome 22nd Congress. The newer members are already taking the initiative on several fronts, and I have issued an address to our Congress (which probably will not prove necessary) on how I would like to see our energies directed. So far the newbies are completely living up to my expectations. See: Jude Connors.

So what am I doing, you might ask? Well, because I am lazy, I get the CTF (Citizenship Task Force) to tell me who to grant Citizenship to. I occasionally suggest someone for citizenship, but I really let the CTF do the hard work.

I have been busy tossing my Job Corp idea (now in Version 0.3) to anyone who wants to listen; be it my freshman Congress colleagues or people in Congress for many, many wonderful terms. Even the members of the administration of the eUSA aren't safe from me bombarding them with ideas and questions!

But right now, I am moving towards helping to get the Congressional newspaper up and running again. The GOC (Government Oversight Committee) Chairman, Cromstar really is pushing for this and I hope we get it off the ground soon.
