My views on a merger with canada

This has been proposed whether it was a serious idea or some "thief" having a bit of extra fun I don't know.

ATM as we speak eCanada is no more. Poland is now taking the last part of Canada.

So in my view:

Preconditions:
1. Canada must not be wiped and must have a "peace treaty" in place with poland. Whom I anyway think is already getting bored with their latest aquisition as canada don't offer much.

Ireland taking a Canadian province

Bad idea there is nothing to be gained except resources which I didnt even look at. But Ok except for resources there is no dwarf country near canada , the usa has 14000 citizen and below them there is 8000 mexicans having a siesta or fiesta. So we can do it for good resources.

We are their sea neighbours so no other countries.

Canada taking a Irish province

This looks promising. if they take 1 province and NE the United kingdom the combined country is at last boxing in their weight division with UK about 2000 and Ireland /Canada also about 2000.

So from that position it makes sense.

Conclusion

Not a bad idea but canada must first get rid off poland and then perhaps negotiate a NE with the UK. It would be to both countries benifit. I havent really looked at it from UK perspective but think their also currently wallowing in peaceful times.
