A Song of ATO and PTO - The eUS Civil War
Ronald Gipper Reagan
This is my first "real" article in awhile since I usually tell you about my awesome podcasts that you should totally listen to, but for the younger generations, and for older players alike, I felt compelled to write an article about the eUS Civil War.
It all started back in the spring of 2009. There was a young player back then by the name of me. Persecuted in my original 'Conservative Party', this began the long history of PTOing every party I ever built. If Plato ever instituted protections against domestic PTO's, who knows what may have happened, but I am certain I would have "won" a long time ago in that case. What was their original reason you might ask? It was very simple. I have always been extremely outspoken about my traditional, conservative beliefs, and a lot of people are completely intolerant about that. They wanted to take it out on me mechanically within the game.
We did this song and dance for years more. I would dabble in other countries or have some periods of varying levels of activity, but I created or helped to rapidly expand a multitude of major parties, that all ended with non-stop PTO for personal reasons by the powers-that-be within the eUS. The 'Conservative Victory Party','New Conservative Party', 'Republican Party', and 'Republican Liberty Caucus(merger between the Republican and Libertarian Party', all met with similar fates. It was not until the 'American Freedom Alliance' was created though that we stood any chance of opposing the eUS government, and were able to hold our party for any significant length of time.
After some time building up our support base of Americans, and starting to bring in new allies from abroad, the age of the AFA had dawned. The eUS government had long used their foreign allies against us, chiefly the INCI group, a vast horde of primarily Turkish players who long had the number one party and cooperated with the eUS government as long as their extortion related demands were routinely met. Other groups had also been a big help to the government, especially Croatians(who were originally loyal to our movement but had been turned against us by real-life extremists) and Albanians. These groups and others to a lesser extent along with American players loyal to the regime, and vast networks of bots controlled by fluffer and others played an instrumental role before this, and would continue to do so moving forward.
The AFA was truly a grand alliance the likes of which I don't think has been seen anywhere in the eWorld. We had players from all over the world in our party. Patriotic Americans fed up with the mistreatment and continued abuse by our government spearheaded the way, joined by many brave and loyal freedom loving Serbs, Greeks, Bosnians, Koreans, Hungarians, Romanians, Portuguese, Spaniards, Chileans, Argentinians, and others who were attracted to our movement. The government elites declared a "unity" movement establishing a dictatorship and virtual martial law within the country. Rather than recognize our right to exist and be mature about it, they dedicated themselves to our destruction, even ruining our resource bonuses to try to discourage people from staying in this country.
I have thought about this from time to time wondering if we could have done anything different. We made certain tactical mistakes for sure, but at the end of the day we were up against some radical people willing to do ANYTHING to preserve their pretend internet power. At our peak we were taking a third of the congress, and even putting up in the 40+ percent range in multiple two-way Country Presidential elections. From 2012-2013 we really gave the elites a massive headache for the ages. Our percentage however had dropped for several months, and so we decided to activate a sleeper agent working his way up the ranks of another party. This turned out to be a terrible decision though as while we did get a moderate boost in congressmen, literally HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of foreigners loyal to the government were then imported to take over our party. Once AFA fell the first time we jumped around from month-to-month, but things were never the same after that.
This civil war has an ending unfortunately very much like the real one. A noble cause, always outnumbered and with the odds stacked against them tried vigorously to resist tyranny and to fight for the rights of all eAmericans. To this day I remain the only "enemy of the state" recognized by the eUS government. I wear it as a badge of honor. I don't ask any pardon for anything I've done. I know we were right then, and even after all this time has transpired we were still right. You can't let people push you around and mistreat you. It's important to take a stand for what you believe in. It's sad to see this "game" lose SO many people from those days though. There are some old friends still around, but so many gone. With how awful the world is these days, it's good to know there are still some willing to be steadfast in their resolve and raise their sword when it's needed. AFA lives on in spirit, and in our hearts. I only wish D & D had written us a better ending, but I for one took it like a Mannis!

Lol.
What interesting an interesting fairy tale you weaved.
And the RL Civil War. A noble cause by the Confederacy?
Fighting to keep a group of people enslaved.
That was a noble cause to fight for.
What drugs do you do?
Lol
you realize Lincoln only freed the slaves in the Confederacy those held in loyal states where still chattel at the time.
"The Proclamation freed only the slaves in the states in rebellion against the Federal government. It did not free the slaves held in Union states. At the end of the war on December 6, 1865 the US Congress passed the 13th Amendment to the Constitution which abolished slavery through the United States."
If you knew anything you would know the majority fighting for the south did not own slaves and where merely fighting for there State's rights(and yes one of those rights would be to own slaves...)
Trust me a know a little about the U.S. Civil War Trite.
Exactly which major Northern/Federal/Yankee States still had legalized slavery?
NY, PA,MA,NJ, etc?
Right none.
That whole State Right charade is 100% grade A bullshit.
Every Rebel state in their proclamation of secession stated openly that the right to own human beings as the reason to leave the Union.
Yes I am well aware that the average enlisted Confederate soldier did not own slaves.
Sadly they were used as pawns by the Planation Wealthy to fight and die by the 100's of thousands,
to protect their huge profits made by cash crops of cotton, tobacco etc.
Just like their ilk today, they vote against their own interests persuaded by the mega rich.
Just take a look at the red voting states today.
Another major player in persuading the poor whites to sacrifice themselves was carried out by the church's in Dixie.
Funny how things do not really change over the last 150 years or so.
I do want to make myself clear here.
I am not bashing the Southern States nor the people of those regions.
I have spent a good chunk of my life traveling and living below the Mason Dixon line.
I have enjoyed it very much.
Also as a military history geek, I have nothing but respect for the soldiers of the Confederacy and what they did on the battlefields of the War.
Shiloh, Gettysburg,Sharpsville, The Wilderness,Antitem(sp), etc, etc.
But the cause that they grossly sacrificed themselves was obscene.
End transmission.
Hi, I’m from the deep south.
Fighting for the broad idea of “state’s rights” is some revisionist bullshit.
Have a nice day.
good way to toss out actual debate, I grew up among the eastern battlefields of the war of northern aggression ... Delaware and Maryland still held slaves, it is a minor distinction but I know from the years of playing this game you are not capable of honest discussion just knee jerk rants.
"War of Northern Aggression"
give me a break Trite.
That is a term used by butt hurt neo confederate apologists.
Maryland was not a Union State, it was considered a "border state" as it did not commit to either side but instead played both side of the fence.
You name one state Del. out of how many Northern States that outlawed slavery.
Do not get me wrong the Yankees were not saints.
But do not try to,paint the war as not being over slavery.
That is intellectually bankrupt.
changing my words, interesting tactic, of course it was about slavery, I merely pointed out those that fought generally owned none and fought because they felt it was there right and that Lincoln did not free slaves that where legally owned outside of the confederacy. You ranted on about who knows what (I am of the opinion you do not even know).
nice pics
I would rather be occupied by hostile hordes than live in an eUS run by you or your minions

Although I agree that Wild Owl and the iNCi were a curse on America you forgot to mention you and the AFA used Serbians who at the time -and still are as far as I am concerned- our bitter enemy.

I would believe that the party was "good" up until you bused foreigners into your party to push it higher and higher. I was just joining during the "civil war" and I remember looking at the citizens requests granted by your party just to vote for you. I remember being a part of resistance and joining the AFA just before an election to remove you and place someone else as PP. I remember the push being American. Sure we had foreign help but at the end of the day, Americans moved into the party to keep you and your agents out of congress. And every time we did, the number of "suspicious foreign agents" coming into the country dropped tenfold.
Those were the days... days of FEAR and LOATHING!
They were using foreigners to PTO our party. I simply brought in good ones to hedge against their bad ones.

No.
Just no.
This tells me everything I need to know about your political movement.
I do think you made this game one hell of a lot more interesting for a lot of the eUS players, however they want to remember you.
On the other side of that coin, I think it weakened the eUSA to the point where it has been always looking towards internal strife, making it the permanent silly noob it is at foreign affairs (and defense).
Dude if you are saying the preservation of slavery was a “noble cause” then nothing you were doing would qualify under the standard definition of noble. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Ajay%20Bruno
