What’s up party people?! (And non-party readers). In this article of Carey’s Tribune, I bring you an exit interview with former President of the eUnited States, dmjohnston! Also, I’ll be touching a bit on the supposed air strike that might be happening on day 2,487. (I really wish eRep would make a better timeline system).



So I got in touch with dmjohnston and conducted an exit interview after his term of PotUS had ended. Enjoy!

MrCarey: So your term of PotUS has been over for a few days now. How does it feel?
dmjohnston: It's definitely nice to not feel the need to be online all the time. But I was just telling Tyler yesterday that the sidelines are kind of tough after being in charge. I've been battling the urge to do stuff that aren't really my responsibility anymore.

MrCarey: What would you say was the best experience you had during your time as PotUS?
dmjohnston: It was a lot of fun to interact with other countries. I made some new friends in our allied countries when we were working with them and foreign affairs is something I haven't spent a ton of time in, so it was a nice addition to my game life.

MrCarey: And what about personal achievements? What did you do as PotUS that you are proud of?
dmjohnston: I like to think that I was able to keep things very balanced when it came to dealing with other countries. I was open to communication with a lot of different nations and made good progress in the right direction.

MrCarey: Now that you are out of office, what are your plans for eUS involvement?
dmjohnston: I'll continue to be involved with USAF and WTP, and I'll continue to advise where asked.

MrCarey: And a final question - What advice do you have for Tyler B and any future presidents?
dmjohnston: Stick to your guns, make the decisions and roll with the punches.

MrCarey: I thank for your time yet again DMJ, and personally thank you for a well ran term in office!
dmjohnston: Of course, and thanks. It's nice to hear support for the work I did.



Now, onto the supposed airstrike. If you haven’t heard already, Fed party and our President have both weighed in on this topic. Apparently there is a possibility eUSA will be attacked on 9/11 by an enemy nation. So far, the best guess from what I’ve gathered is eThailand. Needless to say, the apparent mockery that is being made by eThailand’s government is disgraceful to say the least due to the RL events that occurred in the US on that day. In a sense, it’s almost tempting to ignore the air strike (should it happen) and show them the ignorance of their actions won’t be entertained. On the other hand we have a nation to protect, and because of that, we need to take action. So I ask you this; fight with pride, fight with dignity, and fight for justice. Pay attention to any and all announcements made by your MU and be diligent. It’s also suspected that along with the airstrike, our colonies will have RWs triggered as well. We will need to be focused and ready so we don’t lose any of our regions.
