Because of your support and votes in the meta and ingame primaries, I have the pleasure of earning my 5th term as WeThePeople Party President. Gotta thank DMJ yet again for

A. Forcing me to campaign by running even when he didn't want to,

and more importantly,

B. Realizing that A wasn't really working out so he should probably gimme a hand.

While it is exam season for my irl, hence the come-from behind campaign win, I'm happy to say that thing are already in motion. After this article is published I'll be sending out invites to individuals I'd like to include in my Cabinet for this Summer term. I can't reveal my cabinet until they all accept, but as it stands, I'm really looking forward to the month ahead!



What I can reveal are a few key goals I've been considering for the past few days, somewhere in between math reviews and theory tests. I consider these to be some of the "fruits of effiency" that I alluded to in my last article. In no particular order, the Hale June-July term is going to shoot for:

#1- Having our IRC Channel activity rank equal our ingame party rank in comparison to the other main party chans.
In a party which holds diversity as a key reality, the conversations that occur on IRC aren't just fun; They're unifying. Despite the great benefits that a healthy IRC convo can provide, I've noticed that all parties channel activity has went down considerably. While I've never really had to plan an IRC revival, I have full faith that I, alongside the team I've assembled, can kick some more life into #wtp.

#2- Increase Forum Membership by twenty.
Forum activity: That, is something I've worked on before. Where IRC has succeeded, Forums have often flailled. Pulling off a uptick in both this month will be difficult, but I know we have the personality to make it happen. Forums are the permanent way to record what fun and feels we have playing together. If fully utilized, it too can serve as a great unifying factor and a great fun factor too.

#3- Put a renewed focus on using WeThePeople's Public Boards.
WeThePeople as a party is part of the larger eAmerican community. Yet, despite that fact, we've always kept our forums locked away to our select few. I'd like us to start doing our foruming out in the public part of the WeThePeople Board as much as we can. Our community and forum activity stands to benefit greatly from this.

#4- Average two real posts a day on the WTP Forums
I feel obliged to write something explaining every goal now. But, this is pretty straight forward. No reason WTP can't have as much foruming fun as any other party.

#5- Get all Election notices out on time.
While notices haven't been horribly late, it's always been a problem getting them out properly. I know some rightful concern was raised over the PoTUS primaries election notice that went out this time around. Under my plan we're going to be working communication into a well-oiled machine.

#6- Average 6 PPDB posts a day
An active PPDB means work is getting done. DMJ's last term averaged about 5 per day- Why not try for one better?

#7- Start a discussion on the abolishment of Bill One
This...is harder to explain than most things here. I'll have to come back to this one in a few days time. But basically, the vast majority of the bill is outdated.

#8- Start a discussion on whether or not we should repeal the Party's Stance on Vote Buying
During my...2nd term I think, I passed a referendum to approve a rather hard-line party stance on vote buying. eAmerica has changed greatly from then and so has the party. I'm going to work towards repealing this stance.

#9- Create a fully functional WeThePeople Cabinet
Yeah. Another straight forward one. See last article.

#10- Win us the #2 Position
Cause, why the f**k not?

Segwaying to a more serious note, I must commend the USWP and eAmerica as a whole for the response to that weird multi PTO attempt that was going on for a bit. The threat was quickly and efficiently dealt with (via ban) and the meta-selected party president of USWP, SColbert, won his seat handily. Sincere congrats to him and the rest of the T5 PPs who have been elected to lead their parties this month. Best of luck to all of you!
