Dear Citizens,
Today I come before you to officially announce that I have been offered the chance to run with Presidential hopeful, Technician, as his Vice Presidential running mate. I've known Technician for a long time and as he illustrated in his campaign announcement is a player of integrity.
Integrity. Nowadays it seems harder than ever to find someone with it. Someone with the necessary character and values to where those words could help define that person. Technician is an honest player, hardworking and dedicated to America and always has been. He's spent time, energy and money in the Training Corps and now in the Marine Corps to do his part to fight for our country. He has the drive and he has the capacity to be President. We are on track to assembling a very experience, capable staff, that under the leadership of Technician will bear fruit.

Leadership In Tough Times
What defines a leader? For many its someone in charge. Someone to hand out orders, or makes a lot of noise in the political arena and has a cadre of supporters. For many though, its those few people they look to for their example. When it comes to Technician he is the latter. He is the type of individual that others look to for advice and strive to emulate. After knowing Technician for these several months that I have, I've learned one thing for certain. He is a leader of men.
When the race began I backed Speedcat McNasty. In fact as you can see in his last campaign article I was set to be his Secretary of Media. However when Technician stepped up to the plate to run for President, it completely surprised. Technician does not seek power, recognition or wealth. He only seeks to lead by example and serve as a positive inspiration. That is when I realized why he was running. To provide leadership in tough times.
Establish Goals and Moving Forward
As outlined in his second campaign article, Technician explains to those that don't know him what he isn't. Technician is not an elitist, egotist or inexperienced. Having served as a General in the Training Corps he was part of the process to train thousands of players in the game and understands the fundamentals to leadership and structure. In her newest article, Speak Softly and Carry A Big Stick, former TC General Bia Pandora explains her own experience with Technician and appreciation for his good work ethic and solid character.
As the candidate who has a track record of good leadership, patience, solid work ethic and integrity, Technician is fit to be President. The first priority is ensuring a solid leadership team to handle the government and effectively manage it. Through strong personal initiative, delegation and positive leadership, this country can be on track to liberation. Technician is not just a soldier. He's a dedicated citizen who wants his country back. Now he has chosen to campaign for the highest office of the land to reclaim that country.

Tech is a Tank, not a President.
What the US needs right now is a President who can bring true Military Victory.....which means that President should not be a Military leader in any sense.
Haliman and BradleyReala = Military Leaders, Military Failures as Presidents.
St. Krems and Jewitt = Non Military Leaders, Led the most successful Military Campaigns of US history.

This campaign has potential, but so far all the articles are full of pretty rhetoric instead of useful information for decision making.

@Civil Anarchy: You just repeated the same thing in a different way which still falls back to this: Saying you aren't an elitist = / = Stereotyping a specific person.
And it's not stereotyping. The entirety of this campaign is based upon you, Technician, and other AMP members saying that because of Technician's military background, he will be the best presidential candidate. This is a claim that is entirely unfounded, seeing as the reality of previous presidents is the fact that Political Leaders in the eUSA have actually been the ones to plan and effectively follow through with the most glorious military campaigns in our history. From the Three Pillars, to the Conquest of Far Eastern Russia, my point has been proven.
I don't know about anyone else, but I never said that Tech would be a good CP because of his military background. Haven't been reading that either, because most of what has been said has been describing his leadership...imo doesn't really matter what he led, as long as he did.
TBH, with all the snide remarks and off the cuff rantings I have seen from some of these so-called elites...seems to me that all they want to do is treat us like outsiders as if we don't have the people who can lead. Seems like all it takes to rattle a elites' cage is a couple losses in the political arena.
If that is truly the case...you guys better start preparing for a new way of government. I think the people are asking for your removal.

@John: I personally haven't seen you use the argument, yet it's one that I've responded to twice today, and see many times in the comments section of Tech, SVV, and Bia Pandora's articles.
If the remarks in question were those of CRoy and Glados, I can tell you for a fact, they're not elitists. Trolls and elitists are two different breeds, although with some of the backroom fog, I can see how it's hard to tell the difference at times.
Your comment about elites is my main contention with stereotyping. I was just accused of stereotyping Technician by examining the actions of previous Military leaders in Presidential positions. By asserting that we need to prepare for a new form of government, you must also be stating that the current form of government is the elitist government in question, whom, throughout the campaign, the Tech support base has accused of lying, incompetence, and "Killing the player base" of America.
FYI Jewitt served a good time in the Airborne.
I also don't exactly consider St. Krems run as PotUS all that great. Sure he "lead" some great victories but he is also responsible for our greatest Alliance ever (sarcasm FYI).
Hell I think the majority of PotUS' we have had since the formation of the Airborne (majority NOT all) have been members of the Airborne at one point in their eLife. CA nothing wrong with military people.
There's a bit of a difference between a Military Leader, and a Military Member. For example, let's say I was running for President. Would I be able to claim I was a military leader simply because I served as a Boot Camp CO?
To contend that I would be a military leader in this context would honestly be an insult to Technician, who truly is a Military Leader.
St. Krems was able to conquer Far Eastern Russia, something that quite a few Presidents before him had been entirely unable to do, including the President directly preceding him. As for Terra/PANAM, let's look at it rationally. Would we have been better in World War V as the pseudo-neutral/EDEN aligned country we were prior to PANAM, or as the Eden aligned alliance with a slightly higher damage output 😃

Just to throw this out here, but on December 3rd (two days before I was elected) I was promoted to CSM of the Airborne, a commanding position which was on par with the Lt. General and General himself...essentially a triumvirate of power to equally distribute everything. So, theoretically, I was a military commander (by far, I helped strategy in both our turnaround under Emerick and Gaius, as well as in Asia) far before I was President. Was I a General/CJCS? No way, probably would had never taken the job anyways. I just see the oversimplification a little uncalled for.
FTR: I am endorsing or campaigning for no certain candidate. imo the nation's fucked either way so I will be voting (hopefully) Chinese soon.

Good article, SVV. I am truly saddened that through all the mentioned articles the only part that "some" seem to have read was that Tech is military, and therefore they say he isn't qualified.
That attitude is exactly what got us into the mess we are are in now.
Personally, I like Technician, but he just doesn't have the executive experience needed to serve. My two cents.
Tech has IRC experience, forum posting experience, leadership experience, battle experience, the ability to problem solve in the best interest of a group, rather than just for himself, experience leading a large number of players, experience in retention and recruitment, experience in group management, including but not limited to delegating tasks, umm let's see, experience in playing the game without being a rotten, dirty, shady backroom thief, while serving 3 terms in Congress...
He has all the "executive" experience he needs. All he hasn't done is given backroom bjs for a better cabinet position.
Are BJs on the table?
That's not the executive experience I'm talking about Bia. Running TC is difficult, I agree. But that is no where in compared to the amount of bullcrap you'll get from other countries and people if you are POTUS.
I'm glad to see he is diversifying and picking people outside of the JCS military.

Hobbit darlin, it's not like someone with new ideas coming in is going to screw anything up with other countries/people. That's already been done, with people with "experience with the executive".
We really need change, badly. He's not alone, has will have the same ability to choose a cabinet and advisors just like everyone else, the difference is he is mature enough to USE them for more than a campaign promise. We both know Tech is not a stupid man.
All of this name calling and muckraking is what I hate about politics.

All I see here is more rhetoric and no actual hardcore plan. Sorry, guys. Tech doesn't have what we need. Also, HA? The military ENFORCES the PotUS' foreign affairs decisions, they don't MAKE them. You need to learn the difference.
Liquid Oxygen: I don't think so. JCS is adviser body. And, Yes POTUS should listen JCS advices in crucial matters. Also he can at least ignore JCS advice what he actually did. So, he take full responsibility for his own decision...
