Five days ago the Polish congress approved a NE law against eRussia and thus starting the war between the two countries.
This official article of the Polish MoD explained the reasons of this war which are their boredom and the possibility to open a path to eChina. The most interesting fact of this article is that the Polish government was fully aware of the possibility of a full scale war with CoT.
eRussia since when was a member of TERRA was closely associated with eChile and eBulgaria and now has very close relations with CoT. Regardless of the fact that isn't yet an official CoT member eRussia has signed in the past defensive pacts with eBulgaria, eChile and eUSA.

But for now except the eUSA the rest of the CoT or proCoT countries have officially declared their neutrality in this war.
In reality this "official" decision means nothing because the Bulgarians and the rest of CoT players anyway are fighting for eRussia against ePoland. Since the entire stack of CoT MPPs on the Polish side was canceled because ePoland is the attacker we can consider this as the first ever CoT vs TWO war.
CoT and TWO are draining each other in eRussia and EDEN is taking advantage of this striking for the last days many victories. Especially ePoland is plagued by many RWs and eSerbia is going to face the return of eCroatia in the Balkans.
The war is a strategic and diplomatic disaster because it was poorly planned and there isn't coordination between CoT and TWO and the reasons to start this war are simply ridiculous, it is stressing the relations between CoT and TWO and is alienating a proCoT country.
The military defeats of CoT and TWO suffered in the last days by a revived EDEN are the proof that the Russian-Polish war is only going to revitalize EDEN. Even if ePoland accomplishes to reach eChina TWO and CoT will be so exhausted that eChina and its EDEN allies will easily win and repel ePoland.
In reality it is simply impossible for ePoland to beat eChina and in the same time win all the RWs that could cut their route or their bonuses. In order to beat eChina, CoT and TWO need a country bordering eChina that have a decent military strength, and the only country fitting this definition is eRussia.
TWO with this retarded war, and CoT with this pussy neutrality are only alienating a valuable ally that could be precious for the demise of the Chinese empire.

good for EDEN.
eRussia is doing too much of a double agent politics here. In the past 6 months, the have been changing sides too much. Once they had MPP-s with EDEN, once with CoT, there was a time when they had TWO MPP-s as well. They were choosing sides based on their own situation, and never really joining one side. Now that Poland attacks Russia, they suddenly become CoT pro fully. I'm not saying, its fully their own fault, but its their politics, that brought this upon us, and not only Poland.
Russia lately was a proCoT country for a while and not suddenly now, and anyway I don't understand what's the point in bringing the past of eRussia. Half of CoT countries are ex TEDEN members.

Well in few months many things can change in eRepublik.
I can agree with you, but i have been dealing with them for the past 3 months. Every time, when we already reached an agreement they would back down with some kinda story. Its really irritating, and i can't blame Poland for going at it like this. They could negotiate with eRussia for months or even years, and never get a positive reply, or even if they would, it would be cancelled the next day.
The Hungarian dude above is 100% right,I've been playin' this game for years and I saw eRussia "helping" an ally (eMacedonia) for the first time in the game by directly involving with the war with eIran.Attacking a pro-ENDED country,then attempting to sign an MP3 with eChina today...Before that,there had been a rant going on how eRussia is already considered as a member of CoT due to her MP3s.I'd advise a careful approach when negotiating with 'em.
I don't know why would Russia reject to pass Poland trought their land in order to attack China, it's just temporarily, no real damage to russian economy... They could just let it go, and retrieve their's regions trought RW's

I personally think that calling this a war between CoT and TWO is a little bit too much. Everyone knows the history of eRussia, and for the last 6 months they've been playing on three sets, CoT, EDEN and even TWO. So no wonder even eBulgaria declared neutrality. There should be a consensus in destroying eChina, and that also means eRoC, but what eRussia did was to cover China's and EDEN back. That;s how I see it...
