PatoHeroes - RO

Day 5,264, 15:37 Published in Romania Poland by Smoku89

Of course, no offense - it's about pathology as a phenomenon, definitely not an offense. To wrap it up - Hello everyone 🙂

I admit that when I see an account opened just yesterday, which has several dozen BH medals, I see this picture in my head :

In my opinion, this is related to the disproportion in the number of players between individual divisions - training wars created for D4 and Air create a lot of D1 battles in which no one even attacks, hence we can get a BH medal by dealing even a ridiculous 100dmg. I do that myself, as you can see from the number of my BH obtained in a month - when I see the last 15 minutes of the battle with no attacks.

However, everyone will probably agree that this is a bit of pathology of rules. Perhaps Plato is well aware of it - this way, new players receive buckets of free gold for expanding their camps, so they can try to chase other players and they have an incentive to keep clicking. Now and then I come across comments that the division system is unfair, pointless, and should be based, for example, on strength. However, in my opinion, this would be grossly unfair to people who buy the Infantry Kit, unprofitable for Plato as well, and would also have an impact on the economy of the eRepublik - although this is not an argument for Plato, what can be seen in the latest events commented e.g. here:
https://www.erepublik.com/pl/article/mission-and-a-question--2750976

Let us start with the economy - what does the Infantry Pack give anyway? As everybody knows, it allows fighting in ground battles without gaining experience, thanks to which people can artificially freeze your presence in a given division. However, there is a catch - it requires hitting with a weapon and does not work in air battles. That means those players always pay cc to burn energy, stimulating the economy even without real wars. I'm guessing that wars are their main activity in the game and they don't play the business part too much - this is a shot, if you have a different opinion, I'd love to hear it 🙂

Why would it be unfair? Because people who pay real money for staying in a given division, cut off their promotions in Air Rounds, but also give up bonuses for lvl ups (gold, free training, etc.). In return, they have a lot of gold from BH, but looking at how much money they spend, they could easily buy Tycoon for it and earn it differently. In addition, they consciously cease to be considered important in Air to support their country in lower divisions - it is a strategic decision with many years of consequences. Forcing them to divide back to higher division on a strength basis would be a scam for a client who regularly pays for Plato's services.

And here we come to profitability for Plato - these are regularly paying players (if they don't pay, they can't fight). Plato should take care of them on every occasion possible 🙂

So what can Plato do to avoid shooting himself in the knee and curb the division's "problem" at the same time? I have some ideas, but I'd like to hear your opinion first! Preferably at least 25 different opinions for the mission 😉

Seriously, I am publishing it in the strongest countries because I am curious about your opinions.

All comments are more than welcome!

PS: A little reward for anybody who read that far:
