Well, there were wars and you were able to purchase weapons and fight in a flash-like scene, but what's the point of it all?

Moreover your Military unit pointed daily orders at apparent random.

... there was easy gold and fast levels.
And you shouldn't spend your gold. (1st lesson: don't waste gold)
