[CP] End of Term Report December

Day 5,156, 01:54 Published in Japan Japan by Masaharu Homma

Happy New Year! Wishing you a happy, safe and healthy 2022.

In only a few days from now, my term as Country President will be over, and we will have elections again.

I wanted to take some time to reflect on this past month, and all that we have achieved.

Foreign Affairs:

At the beginning of the month, we started a new training war with Poland. Japanese citizens that were affected (e.g. holding companies in Poland) were compensated. In total, we paid out ¥86.450 in compensation.

Not long after, we also started a new training war with Bulgaria. Some citizens had to move their residences, but there was no financial impact.

Both training wars have been going very well and have resulted in a lot of extra gold earned by our citizens.

Finance:

In December, we were able to generate a profit of almost 1.3 million JPY on the Monetary Market.

On most days in November, Japan had a positive net income. There have only been 5 days in November when we had a negative net income. This is because, on 4 of those days, we paid out the rewards to our J.U.D.O. program participants. The other day on which we had a negative net income is when we paid out compensation to citizens affected by the Poland training war.

We had a very good month. We added almost 1.4 million JPY to our balance sheet. Most of this money remains in our national organizations. Here it is immediately available to the government when needed.

The graph below is of our total assets, so this also includes the money that is sitting in the treasury. We can only access the money and gold in the treasury by passing a law.

Defense:

We continued the J.U.D.O. program throughout December and have paid out a total of 495,000 JPY. This is a lot of money, but it is money that is ending up in the pockets of Japanese citizens. The winners can use this money to develop their accounts.

And that concludes this end-of-term report and review. I am very pleased with all that we have achieved.

I hope that all of you enjoyed this article. I encourage you all to come out this 5th of January to exercise your right to vote.

Best,

Masaharu Homma
