South African and Polish Victories

South Africa, with the help of the United States and the rest of EDEN, has achieved a victory in a resistance war for the Northern Cape region, and just in the nick of time. It was crucial that South Africa free a region from the grips of their South American overlords before the congressional elections so that they can keep their sovereignty, as well as their ability to control who gets South African citizenship. The White House has enjoyed working closely with the legitimate South African leadership during the campaign and would like to congratulate them on a campaign well fought.

Poland held the originally a French region region of Rhone-Alps. For now, this has put a halt to the Slovenian Land Bridge into France, though the true significance of the battle was the amount of damage done. Over 10 million damage total made this a huge fight. What’s more, the region now costs over 2000 gold to attack. Defending the Rhone-Alps while reclaiming South Africa. Wow. Yesterday was a glorious day for this nation and her allies.

Both of these victories represent significant Phoenix losses, in a time when Eden is undergoing internal struggles. The fight against Phoenix continues!
