Hello America! It's the DoE back at it after a long time. We’ve been busy over here in our little “book nook of knowledge” removing all of the cobwebs and dusting the bookshelves. We’re really excited to get this month started and really really excited to announce that we have quite a few interviews with big name players within the upcoming weeks including:

Pierrelesombre on air battles. You have probably seen pierrelesombre sitting on top of the national aircraft leaderboard week, after week, after week...


If you are new and don’t know the basics of the aircraft module then aircraft battles are part of every campaign. After three Tank Battles the fourth one will be an Aircraft Battle. For an eNation to do well on the battlefield, it needs a strong Air Force!


I’m sure you get gist of it, so let’s find out how Pierrelesombre sits on top of the leaderboard every week.


What kind of battles do you fight in?
I only fight in air battles

What weapons do you use when you fight?
I only fight in air battles.

Does that mean you don’t use weapons?
Yes...

How do you decide where to fight when you log on?
When I decide to fight I look for where a Sky Battle is starting or just started and will try to go for the Sky Hero medal right away.

How often do you logon each day?
I don’t work in RL anymore, I am retired, I have a lot of extra time on my hands that I can use to play eRep.
We think that means he lives online!

What packs do you buy? Why?
I buy every pack they all have different advantages that come in handy

How long would it take to reach your current air rank (Group Captain***** )?
I don't exactly know, depends on how much EB you are ready to spend (and to buy...) but it is rather long if we start from the very beginning

How many sky hero medals do you win in a day?
At the beginning of the week I fight more to earn the faster energy every 6 minutes but near the end of the week I like to get at least 6 or 7 a day, it also depends if I can have my SH quietly or if I have to defend it against someone.

So, what can we learn from all of this?

-Never use aircraft weapons, they only have “1 use” and don't increase your damage output enough to be worth the price.

-Finish the Daily Order set by your Military Unit everyday to earn that extra energy bar.

-Try not to move to fight. This will save you money!. The eUSA has enough allies that there will be an air battle almost 24/7. Talk to your regiment captain if you need a change of Daily Order to target an air battle.

-Fly as often as possible. The only difference between you and Pierrelesombre in the air is how many times he has clicked FIGHT! Remember, the higher your air rank the higher your damage output.

-Use your energy strategically. Make sure that on the final day of the week (when the home screen counter gets close to zero) you have full energy when you log off for the night. This means you can fight as much as possible on the first day of the week and earn as many of the “+1 energy recovery” rewards from the weekly challenge as possible. Faster recovery means you can spend more energy fighting, and rank up faster.
