From the President’s Desk
Day 1 is always a lot of work for the Chief of Staff. Blande proved his worth today. We’ve moved the largest White House staff into the Forum, Discord, and our Google Drive folders. Lots to juggle and Blande was awesome. Thanks Blande! I also had to replace myself on SCI since I lost my seat when I chose not to run for Congress. I’m pleased to announce that my seat went to T Recks, an active member of SFP and someone who will serve Congress well. We’ve got some exciting news on the horizon from the Department of Defense, more info will come from them when they publish it. We have a highly functioning team and I look forward to seeing all they will do for eUSA this month.


From the refurbished VP office
So I replaced a dead VP today...yea the whole dead body thing... that's why I had all the furniture removed from my new office, used lots of lysol, and selected some other historical pieces from the white house facilities group warehouse. I've always liked FG but the whole rotting smell isn't my gig.

For those interested in the finer...err gossipier things here a scope for you. Since the President gets his pick of things of course, or even gets to order new shiny things the VP is well the second fiddle, but just any 'ole furniture will not do.

So I had a few pieces of furniture installed today from the Frost era, might be delayed a day though something about needing defurring. Kinda amazed it hasn't been after all these years. A piece of art from the Reala administration because I can and we were good friends. Lastly, Cerb's guest smoking chair because it makes a statement. I was told I couldn't have THE smoking chair because it is immortalized in the AMP lounge. Darn oh well this is the next best thing. Oh and I did find a nice Spanish end table from Gnilrap's 2nd administration. Well that about does it, have a fantastic day!

The Departments of Interior and Education have hit the ground running with new announcements and upcoming programs.

The Department of Education, headed by Ilene Dover, has already announced the resurrection of the DoE newspaper. Needing new banner and line breaks, Dr. D is holding a competition for their design; the winning submission will win 10,000 cc from her own pocket, plus an additional 10,000 cc from CP Gnilraps. Submit your designs directly to Ilene Dover via PM. Also expect to see regular tidbits of knowledge about game mechanics and eLife hacks coming from the revitalized DoE. No more walls of text this term.

The Department of the Interior, headed by Herr Vootsman, already has some great programs in effect. If you aren’t aware of them, the Meals on Wheels (MoW) program provides eUS citizens with a small pack of food worth 500 energy every day by completing this form. The American Air Rank Program (AARP) provides 4000 energy worth of food daily to eUS citizens under the air rank of Group Captain by completing this form. Whether you are a new or returning citizen, take advantage of these awesome programs to maximize your combat effectiveness.

The office of Secretary of State is one of great importance, and I hope that I can do it justice this term.

My promise to you, is that you will have a very active Minister of Foreign Affairs team working for you and your best interests. One that will re-engage the International Community and provide the best image possible for the eUSA.

We will also work closely with the Secretary of Defense to ensure that you never have doubts on where to fight or what our priorities are. I believe communication is key, and is something that we will prioritize this term.
