We have taken this too far

UPDATE: I've written a follow-up to this article, please read that one as well.

While I was never a fan of this whole revolution and counter revolution thing, I let it go at first.

I thought it would let those who were involved have some fun with this game, and maybe attract some two-clickers and newbs who would've otherwise left this game.

But now I see that members of the revolution and counter-revolution are trying to PTO (Politically Take Over) each other's major political parties (the 15th is Party President election day).

Stop it. Please.

These are the only reasons why PTOing a Top 5 domestic party is acceptable:

1) The party is inactive and doesn't deserve to be in the Top 5
2) The party is actively working against American interests.

That's it. Neither of these apply in this month's election, and unless you can show me otherwise, I think this revolution roleplaying has gone too far.

Yes, we can have a revolution and counter-revolution. Just don't let it get in the way of game mechanics.

Sorry for sounding like the old guy ranting here, but I feel I had to speak up.
