The Importance of Civility
Brian Boru
As a matter of public record, everyone should know that I have been defending Conway from unworthy attacks in the Congress thread, and Arjay has taken offence, thinking that my objection was an attack on the right to free speech.
On the contrary, it is a defence of another right, the right to live in peace without government officials using their power for personal vendettas.
Why?
Because no man has ever presented evidence beyond speculation as to motive that Conway is in fact a traitor.
More importantly, I did so because the man fought and fights for Ireland, and he deserves better than to be slandered like a dog.
That's all.

Why did he move to the UK of all places?
Because MUFC was President, and was attacking the UK?
Is that a reason then? If he was upset with MUFC, why did he not stay in Ireland & attack MUFC in the newspapers?
MUFC dismantled what was about two years work in diplomacy, work often carried out by the kunts themselves. Attacking him in the newspapers would be a weak and obsolete response.
I can understand them wanting to get away from it. I wouldn't do so myself, and I regarded their exile as a huge mistake back then as now, but hardly traitorous.
1) I don't really care why other attacking him but obviously there are some fact from Nogin Nog articles (that he stole and "returned money" to remind in that time Nogin was in govrement.
2)if you seek you will see that this acc is not his first acc, the original acc was perm banned guess why 😃, I think Grannie wroted about this, but evidence exist in old newspeaper.
3) he and kunts ptoed ILP, you for sure remember that
4) he fought for brittish against Ireland in direct battles. a true patriot 😃
5)all that trolling and that from mike or arjaj side he deserve because no that so long he was doing same thing, remember like when he become brittish and spite in every Irish soldier.
Really i dont care for other, but i have witnesses some of recent event I'm sure that he deserved everything that he gets, and for sure guys like Chewie or Conway never more can have irish cs. and every of this will be avoided.
and is this govrement stance or yours 😮
Lol and in wich congress thread is been that personal vendetta. in my is a pretty boring 🙁
1. He returned money that had been sent to him. He had no access to the treasury so couldn't rob shit.
2. Irrelevent.
3. Aye, and you PTOed the Patriots. By your logic, you're a traitor.
4. He fought against Ireland under MUFC's rule. Not the best decision, but when you think your country is run by a madman, people will do desperate things.
5. Trolling isn't a traitorous crime, it's impolite at worst.
Many players come from UK to play in Ireland. And MrConway is certainly not the first Irishman to go the UK to play. The list of players who have played in both countries is very very long indeed. People are free to play the game wherever they want so long as they have their CS country's best interests at heart. That is all that needs to be considered, anything else is just kurganesque in it's stupidity.
maybe but he choose poor time to go to UK
? you dont consider the article where he kisses british ass as traitorous. you asked for it i will place in on this feed.
So what you consider an evidence Boru?
Maybe..i don't know....Conway publishing an article where he quite clear and open state his loyalty to britain and his weapons to be used against Ireland?
In time we were erased and fighting to rw regions?
but then..according to this "irish government" and conway himself, conway sold EVERYTHING...all his factories and all of his companies and then he spent ALL OF HIS GOLDS AND CC for one rw?
As krakken noticed....what a retard you must be to lose everything...to spent everything you have for one rw...
But Conway is not a retard.....is is just a traitor and all your noise will not erase that fact.
It will not also erase the fact this traitor was welcomed back to IA by it's commander Seanan.
Conway in IA is an insult and a slap in the face to all members of IA who stood their ground and fought for Ireland as a loyal soldiers....

I don't know, man. There's plenty of things being posted here. Some might even call it proof.
It's honorable for you to defend your buddy. It is. Really.
I am glad, however, that there's now a mix. There's a couple of articles on the feed that seek to exonerate him (like this one), that seek to crucify him (they're out there), and at least one that seeks to get it all out on the open in a knockdown, dragout sort of way.
That article would be:

As for mentioning me, I think you're an individual first. Speak as an individual. Don't hide behind your suit, You're no better than anyone else. You have something to say? Then say it. Here's a great place to do it:

Your article is a travesty, a collection of speculation and exactly the opposite of what due process is.
Do we have to now say in public what we said in private about due process? There's no court system, hence there's no due process.
As for me, the only derrogatory thing I said about Conway is that he's a putz. Do we really need to talk about due process when it comes to whether or not I consider someone a putz?
It is precisely because we have no court system that we need to be VERY careful about opening huge personal vendettas into the public sphere.
You have done just that with your attentionwhoring article.
I would endorse the civility point. I have no personal knowledge of Conway's actions, other than what has been publicly seen. I believe you can disagree with someone, and even bring up past actions that you feel are relevant to the discussion without resorting to personal attacks. Even if you strongly disagree with someone, or consider them a thief and a traitor, it's possible to make your points in a manner that doesn't reflect badly on yourself.
No argument with the civility point. However, a certain group of people have continually found it difficult to be civil.
I remember back in eCanada when we were dealing with the whole Rolo issue. I was a congressman then and we finally had enough of trying to fight with rolo as he pto'd, stole Treasuries, and won CP elections despite our best efforts. We wanted to try something different. So we voted in congress (3-4 times) winning every single time to exonerate rolo of all "charges". but this caused the country to be torn apart. we went to civil war and half of our government left to the states and proceeded to invade Canada. A few months later things settled down and everyone came home, free of charges. I can honestly say that i think Canada is better off for what they did... I guess what i'm trying to say is that maybe you should just move on,and forgive Conway... the past is the past.....
cause you really don't wanna go through what we had to back in Canada....
We've had civil war and revolution in Ireland before. Many times.
This is a game, not real life. People switch teams in games all the time and its all in good fun. I don't know why we should consider this any different.
Trouble is RL intrudes into this game all the time. I just happened to mention the name of the Rev Ian Paisley once & when people came out of the psychic shock they went into, they started foaming at the mouth. Its a bit more than just switching teams.
Except most eBrits aren't unionist retards, so the RL comparison applies less and less as time goes on.
