[UK Prime Minister] Operation BAMBI is ON

Dear citizens,

First of all, I need to announce that I will be less available on the following days. On last day, I received a Real Life bad news and this one includes that Real Life is asking me. It doesn’t mean that I will be unavailable (far from that) but at some moments : it will be very hard to be on Erepublik. Like most of us will say : Real Life > Erepublik.

That’s all from my real life and back to Erepublik stuff.
Sweden

I begin with the stuff who will have the most interest for you. We are going for Bambi(deer) in Jamtland. Last RW launched in Lithuania was a common action from UK and Lithuania. With this region under Swede control, it gives us the possibility to attack it without losing lot of MPPs.

Jamtland will be linked to our capital (Yorkshire). For Lithuania, they don’t lose access to oil (Trondelag) and deer (Svealand - Norrland). There is no lose for them and UK can gain deer. It’s clearly a win-win deal. Also, if there is an issue for your baltic friends : UK is easier to contact with some colonies in Scandinavia than without.

Like I said on my last article : We won’t organise something wrong against Germark. Our relations are correct and we both wished to continue to keep good contacts to the other country.

PS : we have initiative on that war (meaning that we have 24h to attack when the Natural Enemy law is approved). We were faster than Swede CP (1 or 2 seconds)

International news

An update about our current MPP panel is required. Argentinian MPP is currently under renewal when Estonian - Slovenian and Serbian MPPs weren’t (or won’t be) renewed

I begin with the current renewal : Argentina.

Last week, I had a talk with Argentinian CP (Tenshou) and told him that we wish to renew MPP between UK and his country. He easily approved the choice.

However, earlier in the day. In reaction of American NE law against Portugal. An Arg congress member decided to NE USA. An accepted law should have the consequence that we should lose MPP with Argentina (When 2 countries with who you share MPP are directly at war, you lose MPP of the "aggressor" country). With low cash : it shouldn’t be good to renew a MPP who should be lose in 2-3 days.


Dinner with Tenshou (Argentinian CP)

I contacted Tenshou (Argentinian CP) and he assured me that Natural Enemy law launched against USA was a rogue proposal. Currently, that proposal is at 5 YES - 30 NO. Meaning that Argentina won’t attack USA and we renew MPP with our latin american friend.

About Estonia : I was informed by Mixliarder (former Estonian CP and current MoFA) that after a huge war with Finland, it was time for peace. Meaning that Estonia is cutting on their MPPs.
With less than 400 citizens, it is hard for them to keep 9-10 MPPs. They decided to continue essential ones (Lithuania - Spain - Poland - Argentina). If something happen to our respective countries : it won’t be a problem to sign MPP. We continue to have excellent relations with this baltic country.

I finish to talk about Slovenia and especially Serbia.

When TWO collapsed, it was clear that you should find on a side Poland and Spain. The other will be composed by Serbia and Slovenia.
I was approached by Poland and Spain about continue the road with them when I received nothing coming from Serbia (despite a 4 years friendship).

A former TWO SG (the one who tried to destroy TWO) clearly shouted to help Canada against UK. He told me that “after Poland and Spanish Wipe, he won’t do something against UK”. On the last article that I mentioned Serbia as ally : I received as comment “Please do not consider Serbia as ally again”.

Since that moment, I didn’t had a single contact with Serbia about continue the road together. I even saw some serbians trying to seduce France to make the road with them. Clearly meaning that we aren’t on Serbian plans. I’m sad because our relation was long (more than 4 years) and we shared common excellent moments. Currently,UK doesn’t consider Serbia as the most evil country. We will not forget what they made for us in the past but now : we will take different roads.


After 4 years, We are taking a different road

Maybe a day : we will be together again but nobody is currently able to make a statement about that.
PS : despite the long friendship, Serbian ministry of defence doesn’t consider UK as ally. Something very sad but clearly meaning that our roads are now differents

The consequence is that we won’t renew MPP with Serbia and Slovenia.
Congress is working and government news

Some days ago were organised Congress elections, unlike these last months : there was no speaker candidate but I decided to launch works inside House of Commons. Clearly : I didn't acted as house speaker but we didn't delayed our work because nobody applied.

Yesterday, 3 congress members (Lord Farhan - Sir Humphrey Appleby - Commander Dapper) were nominated. Few hours ago, election was over and Lord Farhan won the election, which means that he is our new House Speaker (Congress leader)


Despite that, and following the drop of some MPPs : House of Commons is debating about several alternatives. We can’t reveal our work on this moment. It remains sensitive but you should be able to see Congress decisions on the following days.


Studying alternatives before explain them to congress

These last days, I received the resignation of the current deputy Minister of finances : Elvis Trout. He decided to leave the cabinet following a lack of his available time. Which means that currently : Count Drakula remains alone to manage the minister.
