eRepublik Bot?
On days like today, when prices fell by 33% in just 4 days, i begin to wonder why these things happen. Some people says this is normal, the economy fluctuates with supply and demand, others say it is because babybooms of new players, but my theory - and i believe many others share - is that this is the famous eRepublik Marketplace Bot
Why I think this? Well ... easy. A few days ago the prices were not only third highest, all countries goods reserves were full - Well, i dont know if all countries, but a few that i look everyday yes - and all worked well, some desperate peered deals with prices much lower than the usual market, but they disappeared within seconds, probably bought by other vendors, which would put the same product on sale at a higher price and gain the difference.
So ... If everything worked fine ... What happened to prices down so quickly in such a short time?
The answer is the title of this article, the eRepublik Bot.
It is clear that the economy in eRepublik has disappeared long ago, and the only way to buy the surplus is with a "market robot". The production far outweighs what is consumed, and if not for the robot market, long ago that producers could not sell their products, even at 0.01cc each.
The economy was destroyed as soon as it became very easy to put companies, from the time that every citizen borns with three farms, from the moment that with level 10 you can have your Q2 weapons company... in this way, which sells products in bulk have no demand because every citizen its self-sufficient - or at least try -.
To rescue eRepublik, Bot Market was created, probably a very simple program run from the game server that is responsible for buying thousands of deals daily, creating a demand that does not really exist.

On days like today, when the eRepublik Bot seems to have taken a break - this happens every few months - we can see the true economic module of eRepublik, in ruins, unreal and totally dependent on the game admins.

All this bot stuff just shows your lack of understanding, prices are set by the players they are higher than in some specific markets because eIsrael have less bonuses.
The problem is that there are foreign citizens that use donations to bypass import tax and make it impossible to produce in Israel.
So they use donations to sell GRAIN or IRON?

Im talking about worlwide market, not just israel, and please please, tell me how they sell Iron and Grain via donations, please show me that!

Eysh is dead wrong.... and haile you are right...... months ago around the time the economic module really went to crap, i would put out stuff at a higher rate than the lowest price on the market , i would watch my stuff being bought while the cheaper stuff would stay on the market, i also watched how often the stuff was bought, then again watched how the cheaper stuff remained on the market. .... there is also a few good articles about this from a lil while back.... right now im not sure about
how that bot works but i can tell you for a fact that it USED to be in place, and im sure it still is.... very good article and good eye
Donations were my example how to avoid the market and paying taxes.
Players set prices and make the purchases.
Even if your higher offer got bought before the lower one it leaves the lower on the market for another player to buy.
The admins have as much influence as bank governor or even less and they give you gold discount to make you use your gold and buy more.
Are you suggesting the low offers are from fake players?
BTW if this was so true why would they not raise the price of gold ?

Eysh really, i dont know what are u talking about.
the reason for this is the sale of companies in 44% discount at least once in a few weeks. so yea, players get self sufficient. I actually don't produce in some of my factories because it's not worth the 10 health....

So erepublik only want to sell us gold that should be clear, now they give discounts from time to time to make sure people want to use the gold, tempted.
How and why would they care about market prices which is the subject of this article.
They would try as much as they can to increase gold value but that also is not happening.
So educate this low level player and explain your view
I dont care your level, im a 4 years old player, dont worry. I play eRepublik since the Hospital times, and the black and white pictures era. But this is not the point.
U are talking about a TOTAL different thing, im not talking about the gold prizes. Everybody knows that admins only want to make us buy gold, thats obvious, but i dont know why are we talking about this?

My view was there is no such thing as the price of gold is so much lower than when I've started if there was a bot it will already increase the price of gold.
As Haile said, the bot is currently on a break, allowing gold prices to drop. When I joined the game, the price of gold was about 1200CC~1400CC... In a few months it rose to that record-breaking 3000CC, presumably due to the activity of the bot, among other things. Then the admins implemented a few changes that made the gold price drop. But don't worry, it will probably swing back soon enough 😃
But Eysh, right now there is a LOT of ways to waste your gol😛 Health Packs, Health Bars, Rockets, Upgrades, new companies, Town centers, bazooka parts, a lot of things!
So people that buy gold has a lot of ways to spend it, that means that u need to buy more gold everytime
