It appears that the U.S. military is still in the process of recovering from the last massive tanking operation in Nunavut. This doesn't come as much a surprise since there was a bit of a delay between the massive tanking in Manitoba and the battle

The U.S. is only one region shy of achieving total liberation, however things appear peaceful today. PEACE is just about done with their offensives for the most part. This is likely due to the fact they can't attack any American or Canadian regions
