Where are we?

I’m so glad you asked. We’re in the lovely city of Warsaw. I decided to travel here today to thank the Polish people for their help in the Russian invasion. They did a great job. They fought with us and it was pretty fantastic, not going to lie. Relations with them have been absolutely fantastic this term and the past several, as evidenced by our leasing of regions and their willingness to protect us during Russia’s invasion of our west coast. The bickering of a few months ago seems silly honestly. That’s why I’m taking the WHPR on a tour of foreign nations. The first on the trip is Poland, because I kind of like the Poles. I have a statue in my room from a friend who went to Poland. It’s of a couple of goats butting heads. Cool, right?

Previous Press Release Reminders

As I told you yesterday, we have some important things going on domestically. We are creating a new fortress region in Far Western Alaska (Far Eastern Russia). This raises the cost of attacking the region or starting a resistance war there. I’m imploring you to move there. If someone sends you two tickets to vote for them in congress, use your return trip one to go to FER. I know I haven’t had my fill of killing Russians, which is good. At some point, Skynet will try and reclaim their territory. You can guarantee it won’t be at a convenient time for America either. By raising the cost of the attack, we make it that much more difficult for Russia to take the region.

I mentioned congress elections somewhere in that paragraph. Please, be sure to participate in some way beneficial to America. Basically, do the opposite of whatever Pizza the Hutt says. inb4reversepsychology!

Honestly though, the congress elections are always a hard time for America. We have so many regions, it’s just so easy for us to be PTOed. I’d like to recommend that you follow Rod Damon’s instructions. We are under a determined threat for the first time in a few months. I really don’t feel like getting PTOed.

War Games

Our glorious leader is thinking about starting up war games between Americans. This can be awesome. You might have a chance to be smitten by the likes of Jankems in single combat without fighting for Phoenix. It makes me happy just thinking about it. More details should come once it’s determined for sure either way whether it will happen or not. However, if you want to follow the discussion you can look here.

Communication and Fun

Basically, I’m starting this of my own initiative. America has a lot of what are known as “2-clickers”. 2-clickers just go through the motions of eRepublik. They work, train, and fight occasionally. They sometimes check the media and the forums. However, they have to possibility of adding so much more and getting so much more out of the game. A big part of this is getting on IRC.

IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It’s essentially a big network of chat rooms. The server commonly used by eRepublik is known as Rizon (I refrained from a pun there, regarding eRepublik Rising and Rizon. You’re welcome) and can be found here. The channel you want to join is #usa-chat. The “#” is important. Once there, just say you’re a newb. After your innocence has been torn to shreds for the greater good, you should actually find a helper. I encourage everyone to get active on this front.
