It's Time For A Valentines Breakup.

Inspired by recent actions in the eWorld primarily Croatia taking on USA and my own article synopsis of how nobody dares attack eCanada, I wondered how long it has been since certain countries have been invaded or wiped. We are all too familiar at this stage of Asteria’s (who recently celebrated their 4th birthday) dominance in the game. Alongside them as a strong-standing alliance is Pacifica who play a very safe game.

To not over saturate this article with figures and lists of regions I have only taken the capitals of countries for the purpose being these were the last region a nation had in a war or the first which they had liberated. In a bid to also save myself time in searching for failed invasions as well as one-win wonders – this article will specifically focus on the concept of a nation being wiped from the map.



Below is a table showing 18 countries and their current Capital regions beside the amount of days since they were liberated. Coincidently, the two alliances mentioned above have a combined membership totalling 17. However, not all their members populate this table. There are four nations who made the cut who are not official members of Asteria/Pacifica, they are: Hungary, France, Estonia and Germany. Unsurprisingly, 3 of these nations are aligned with both Asteria and Pacifica, the exception being Hungary a former Pacifica member. The only Asterian nation who has been wiped in the past 200 days is Lithuania while Pacifica has only seen Mexico get the honour of being removed from the map.

The fact that 17/18 nations who have gone the longest without being wiped are from the same sphere of influence says a lot about how this game has become one-sided and there is a major need for a potential break-up.

If we look at last weeks countries damage (tank only) , we see that only three of the top ten aren’t Asteria/Pacifica and that only one of the top five isn’t part of said “coalition”.

Adding up the numbers from just the top 10:

Pro-Asteria: ~1,536,563,000,000
Pacifica: ~506,167,000,000
Other: ~772,679,000,000

These numbers make it clearer the divide and how Asteria/Pacifica have near 3x as much damage available than those opposed. Even if Pacifica turned on Asteria, Asteria would have a greater amount of damage at their disposal however the battlefield would become a much fairer place.



As the eWorld is lost in the midst of Training Wars and faces yet another calm due to the extreme strength of the Asterian/Pacifican dominance, one can only wonder when and what could really flip this game upside down?

As the real world celebrates Valentines Day, here in eRepublik many of us long for a break-up and the dissolving of a romance that is a key factor in the contribution of the downward spiral of enjoyment this game could provide through a competitive environment. Show some love and lust and give these regions some real action
