[DC] Me, American!

Day 3,576, 18:47 Published in USA Croatia by Nikola barun Jurisic

Hello USA,
It's been a long time since I wrote a pretty big article about my views on the USA as a country, so don't mind me if I repeat some of those things in this article again. Firstly, I'd like to introduce myself to this lovely community. I'm previous President of eIreland, founder of CrOmega and leader of alliances such as Aurora and Adriatica. I've been involved in running (T)EDEN too, but that's very long time ago. Mostly I'm known for dedication to eIreland, my home in this game. So far I've met only several Americans who actually worked in USA's foreign affairs and with those I worked with towards reaching our military goals. I'm looking forward to meet the rest of your (now our) community.

Born to win.

eUSA was born to win this game. 50 regions since the start of the game, isolation from the big battlefields in Europe and strong buying power in real life has made USA a favourite in this game. It could be different though, if the country wasn't organized as it should be from the inside things would've been different. But, you did well. USA has completely used all of its advantages given by Plato and doubled their effects.

USA got 50 regions and used them to maximise the resource wars rewards.
USA got isolation and created an alliance which keeps the country away from most of the conflicts.
USA recruited and schooled many great gold buyers who contributed to the community in any way they could.

They will know who they are. I'm not only talking about the recent times, I remember tons of American tanks who cared about their MU's and community in general. Many of them aren't playing anymore, but their legacy is still around.

USA were born to win this game, but it took effort to come all this way to become the strongest country. I'm not talking about damage, I'm not talking about the population. By 'strongest' I mean the most organized country with most opportunities for everyone. Of course, there are probably few problems, but none of the problems are as big as what internal organization has accomplished.

*not my personal view, just seemed appropriate to use here

What USA seems like to an outsider?

My main idea about eUSA is that the gameplay experience here is somewhat different than in any other country of eWorld. eUSA always had a strong base of players who mostly cared only about what happens in their country. American system actually works great in eRepublik for a simple reason - you care about the USA first. When I registered to USA forums I've seen many discussions about various of important subjects which looked very realistic (reminded me of real life) to me. It's so different than others that it shocked me. I thought something like: "Wow, they are really playing all the aspects of this game!"

USA is actually playing this game in the way countries should play it. All (or most of) internal decisions are made after debates and discussions, your Governments have budgets for different projects which are usually approved or disapproved by the Congress which is elected by the people, who care about who they choose. The way I see it, it's the perfect decision making process. In most of the countries the leaders are usually those who make important decisions - not the congress, not the people. Some of those decisions made are good, some are bad, but unlike here, none of them has been decided by the people. That makes most of people distract from the Government or its country. That's why you'll see many Croats in Ireland, Serbs in Japan or Romanians in Singapore. Most of the didn't felt like they can change something and that feeling is one of the most important feelings in general. When you choose your congressmen to make decisions in your name and when that congressmen actually votes and debates on things - then you feel included. You picked that person to represent you. Then you're gonna give your best for your country, because you're defending something which has a part of you.

There was a part of my article on USA saying:
"The isolation of America is probably the biggest reason why I would like to join eUSA before quitting this game. I’d like to fully focus myself in eUSA, probably it will be like a whole new level of Erepublik, moving from the macroeconomy to a microeconomy. USA is Erepublik within Erepublik. Or at least that’s my impression."

You've shared roles between the most capable people (or at least those elected) and they are doing well in their role playing. Those in charge of military has built the world's strongest military units with the best internal organization and one of the biggest supply numbers. MU members are following the orders and are rewarded for it. American MU's are also one of those who are as closest as self-sufficiency you could be in this game. Those in charge of economy has built the world's strongest and most competitive economy of eWorld, which means they're doing a good job in this aspect. Biggest wages, most profitable production and full resources are the proof that people in charge here are doing good job over the time. It's not a mistake that USA has so many advantages over the other countries when it comes to internal organization. The mentioned system in which people are debating about the things using pros and cons of decisions and the system in which people are indirectly (by electing their representatives) involved in decision making process has created the mentioned Erepublik within the Erepublik.

Me, American!

I'm looking forward to become a valuable member of your community, an eAmerican. I will fight for American interests and join debates, discussions, give my opinion, write articles and befriend people. Whole my eLife I've been playing for small country, a country which couldn't do much of a change in the eWorld. It feels great to join such a big community as American and I'm sure I'm gonna have some great time here.

Yours,
Don Croata
