Day 832 of the New World

On a Monday!?

I apologize. I'm having some bad weather where I'm at and my head got all mixed up. Well, better late than never.

Northern Ireland

The eUK began a resistance war for control of their final original region, Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland was under control of the eIrish at the time. Fighters from all over the New World came to support both sides. The eAmericans, eCanadians, and eCroatians came to support eIreland, while the eSerbians, eBelgians, eLithuanians, and eHungarians came to support the eUK. eIreland had successfully defended Northern Ireland after the first battle, but the second battle resulted in eBritish occupation of Northern Ireland. As a result of this conflict, the eUK was once again whole; reclaiming all of its original regions.

The Greco-Turkish Conflict

One of the longer standing EDEN-Phoenix conflicts is the war between eGreece and eTurkey. This past week we saw a slight push made by eGreece and a counter-push made by eTurkey. For over a week eGreece had control of the two home regions of eTurkey, the Aegean Coast and Central Anatolia, but a push by EDEN forces earlier this week lead to the eGreek occupation of Eastern Anatolia. EDEN occupation of these three regions lasted for about three days until eTurkey reclaimed Central Anatolia on day 829 of the New World. And on day 830 of the New World, eTurkey recaptured both Eastern Anatolia and the Aegean Coast. eTurkey and Phoenix troops pushed further on day 831 of the New World by invading the Haifi District, a region that eIsrael originally owned, but was under control of the eGreeks at the time being. It will be interesting to see if eTurkey and Phoenix advance any further, or if eGreece and EDEN march back into eTurkish soil.

Occupation of the Czech Republic

Last week ePoland had invaded the eCzech Republic and handed the regions over to eSlovakia. But at the beginning of this week, the eCzech Republic reappeared on the map. Soon after, ePoland overtook them once more. But once again the eCzechs reappeared. They have held the sole region of Southern Bohemia since day 828 of the New World and still haven't returned to their full glory.

Indonesian Invasion

Today, day 832 of the New World, eIndonesia attacked the eMalaysian region of Sarawak. This activated the 26 MPPs that eMalaysia holds for the Sol wargames. The wall currently stands at over two million; eMalaysia looks to have a strong grasp over the battle. I'd watch this front, we may even see an eMalaysian counter-attack.

Announcements

This may be the last issue of Sunday Foreign Affairs I write. If that's the case, I must say I enjoyed writing all two issues.

Also, look for updates from our mobile ambassador later this week. Hopefully, reports will be in before the CP elections.

Thanks for reading this weeks Sunday Foreign Affairs
