Your PMs Answered
Irish Princess
Beautiful People of eIrelan😛
Due to the recent 67 PMs, many containing the same questions, the Princess has decided to try out a new form of responding to all of your questions.
She hopes that you all will not mind her answering in bulk. Usually this is not her nature, but because it is late and she has to get her royal beauty sleep, this is the new thing ♥
Please note that the Princess is answering these questions as the Princess, not as a TD, employPrincess of Cutter's Bread, or Ministress. These are personal opinions and are not meant to be tied to any organization or affiliation she may have.
Now, who's first?
Princess, who are you going to vote for in the upcoming CP elections?
Well, hello again, Hypothetical Citizen! Nice to talk to you again!
The Princess is voting for the Nith/Patton ticket this time around. The Princess isn't one for many politics, but she believes Nith's character, experience, and overall personality will make him a great CP (for the...what is it? The 4th time?). And, for the ladies (and maybe you gents too): seriously...how amazingly good looking is this ticket? Nith AND patton? Score.
I like Nith, but I like all of the candidates. What is something that sets them apart to you?
Well, you should read all of their individual manifestos to answer that question. But, for me personally, Dubh's plan to eliminate the Ministry of Health is a HUGE mistake. It makes me angry just thinking about it. How can you just completely eliminate a ministry that helps so many people? Yes, yes, I know...the V2 changes...I call BS.
I don't know about all you Hypothetical Citizens, but this new Economic Module business the Admins are cooking up sounds complicated to me. And new citizens (and probably old ones too) are going to need as much help and as many resources as they can get. This includes wellness help and education too. Sure, a new citizen will start with 100 wellness...but there will always be those who need help and there is always room for wellness education.
Do you take the plan to eliminate the MoH and change the MoNC as a personal slight?
Um...no. Not a personal slight. I don't think Dubh was thinking about me while he was detailing his plan to destroy my beautiful ministries (past and present). I do think that he's making a huge mistake as I've said before.
I care too much about new citizens to leave them high and dry with no where to go if wellness turns sour. Sure, I can always help as the Ministress of New Citizens (which I frequently do), but the MoH monitors and tracks those citizens well into their eLifetimes.
Here's a question for you: do you know how many new citizens the MoNC is caring for at this very moment? Over 600. That's in the last month. There's not possible way we can keep EVERY active new citizen's health on track. The MoH is beautiful in that way.
As for the intended changes to the MoNC. Again, I don't think it was a personal slight...and I'm not sure where many of you are getting that from. Maybe you all think I like drama? ♥
I understand where he's going with all that...
Do I like it? No.
Do you really have a relationship with patton in real life?
Indeed I do ♥
Since the RW is over, is green still the new pink?
The Princess is surprised this one was so popular!
It's official now: Green is the OLD new pink. Pink is NEW new Pink. Please dress accordingly ♥
Thank you for tolerating the different source of answering your PMs!
Please keep sending them! I absolutely LOVE hearing from you all. You just all had the same questions tonight!
Much Love,
Irish Princess ♥

Lol. XD
.. no but seriously, get rid of MoH? Where would businessmen goto to help there imployees?
Wonderfully and properly biased 😉
I agree, Nith IS cute! :3
Another great article Princess. Answering those questions publicly is a great way to reach even those who didn't think to ask.
The MoH got me off the streets and into a nice cozy Q1 slum : ) Where I would have ended up without there support only the egod may know ha.
The Princess has done well to help me along. I doubt I am the only one!
The work between both Ministers has made me a healthy citizen. Why would you want to get rid of help for new players?
Well Hypothetical Princess
If you have bothered too read Dubh's manifesto you would know the Ministry of Health will be merged with the Ministry of Industry making it more efficent since said gifts and housing companies could be run by one body.
But thank's for the un-biased (LMAO) view on the CP elections none the less 😉
And Pip, if you've read mine, then you should know what merging these 2 will bring 😁.
Do I have to wear pink now?
"And Pip, if you've read mine, then you should know what merging these 2 will bring 😁."
All you say is that you want to keep the ministries the same as it is now just incase if it doesn't work (I'm doubtful of that) out it will take "more clicking" to seperate them in future.
This "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach you have is no reason for not trying to think of more efficent ways of doing things.
I worked in Industry infact most of the companies and proceedures that I introduced in my last term as Minister are still in place and because of that I'm positive this move is going to work.
You're missing the point completely. Can't say I'm surprised.
I was going to try and explain it here, real slow, again, but then on 2nd thought... It would just be a waste of time since well, I don't think you'd get it this time either.
Sorry pip. Good luck to you.
know one cares...
oh, Pip...now most of my PMs are about you....
I guess I won't answer those publically. That might get nasty.
♥
Minister of Health is very important in coordination with Minister of New Citizens. We have a successful programme going right now, why break it up.
Don't be a meatwad, PP. You could help out!
Q5 House Raffle for MoH, supplied by Irelands faithful son, Padraig_Pearse. 😉
Wow you truly are the master of debate there Nith being condescending, pompous and all and If all else fails insult their intelligence *clap clap* nice "chatting" with you as always.
@HP: I really could less if there nasty
@pip Were you looking at the name of your laptop when you wrote that?
There is no way the Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Health could be merged and still run effectively. The MoH usually takes me around an hour a day. My guess is that if there is a merge, less time will be spent on it and less people will get helped. I understand how it would help to have access to those two orgs but why does the ministry have to be closed to accomplish that? It's not too hard to give the MoH access to the org...
@Pip: I'm very sorry, but I know not of an HP and your sentence lacks a verb...
Things get very complicated when speaking in a simple Subject-Verb-Object structure. It's ok. You'll get it next time, buddy.
Sweet Drinker is the Minister of Industry and he sends me budget requests and profit/loss statements. In addition to this he runs all the state companies in Ireland and abroad. He simply does not have the time to do Health as well.
At best he would have to hire a deputy to do Health. But if all he will do is hire a deputy, whats the point of demolishing Health in the first place
Irish Princess - lol and please dont highlight my grammar mistakes
Anyone else see the irony in a CP candidate praised for his character in the article to be notably condescending and rude in comments under the article? 😛
That's not an insult, by the way, just having fun. And I personally believe the merge could work well, but I understand reservations on the issue are warranted. To each, their own views, right? Let's keep it friendly, kids.
I don't see the probelm with Health and Industry merged together. Takes an 1 hour and half each day? that be fine unless the Minister is well active for the job. For now we don't need gifts for V2 it be teaching Newbies in State Co's how to gain wellness and keep it at 100 wellness so that wouldn't take alot of time with a messaging tool. If the employee is very low on wellness he/she shall be gifted. Also another thing you now start at 100 Wellness when you are a new citizen. I would choose an active Minister for the job and I don't see any probelm with the merge because gifts are not used anymore so it would be the Education's job to teach them how to gain wellness.
I can see where you're coming from Ian but shouldn't we wait to cross that bridge for when V2 comes out? From the sounds of it, we won't see it come till around May. Once V2 comes out it seems that this will be a job manageable by one person but until then I still feel it should stay separated.
Pink is the new pink indeed!
@Michael Hook : The changes are made already there will be new born citizens @ 100 wellness from that start and you can only heal at hosiptal with wellness lost in battles so I guess there will be little needs for gifts so teaching wellness is the new way as Education Ministry can do that also if the citizen is very low on wellness then the Minister of Industry can give him gifts if he/she is working in a State Company.
A Pink Note of Clarification:
I do not hate or dislike Dubh. He's a nice guy. I have nothing against him personally and I did not mean to sound as if I did.
I just disagree with the idea of there being no MoH.
This "merger" business is not what it appears. It's basically the Ministry of Industry with a little health adjunct that's being described. And I don't like that idea.
Now I know who to send PM to when I have questions. good and original.
Thanks, moo ♥
And yes Ian I can see that making sense when it is V2. All I'm saying is that we're still in V1 and may be for another month or two, why make the changes now?
Rude? To someone who'se committed his eLife to banging down on everything I say, I reduce my standards somewhat. Excuse me.
Looking at these comments, I see Ireland is still fighting for toys in the corner of the classroom.
We need to end this fragementary politics, and turn our differences into our strengths.
Conflict inspires debate and innovation, but divisive forces seeking power only weakens our overall system.
My changes to MoNC will ensure that parties can no longer use their control of this position to garner political support like you see in this article.
My MOVEMENT of health will mean better care for the new worker, and the same or better care for all other New Citizens.
Fight the dirt, fight the wordsmiths, fight for a progressive Ireland!
WOAH! You just completely changed your comment, there, Dub.
Now all of a sudden you're mister "Let's Stand together?"
Please, eIreland, let me post the comment I wrote in response to his deleted and changed comment. It contains some of the quotes he wrote in his earlier, very snide and nasty one.
Man...what an interesting turn of events...
Dub: I'm answering questions from friends whom have PMed me. They ask me for my opinions. Am I to lie to them about those opinions because they may or may not be something you want to hear?
And thank you so much for granting me this absolute influence on newer players! So generous! You know, Dub, I never knew citizens were just indoctrinated little people waltzing around, waiting so so anxiously to hear, believe, and practice EVERYTHING I may say.
Scoff. Dub, really? Even the Princess doesn't think that highly of herself.
Just as she is her own person, free to make comments on her own will, so are all of the new citizens she may or may not help.
"Health is not being eliminated, it is being moved"
Directly from your manifesto, love: "I specified the removal of the Health department and a movement of operations to the state companies."
Yes. Like I said, "moving" it to a pion adjunct in the Ministry of Industry.
"The powerful role that the MoNC holds in developing our new citizens is too open to abuse."
If you feel that way, you should have ministers from every party in every ministry. I don't see how the amount of influence over any particular group of citizens differs from the MoNC to the MoD for instance.
"But I must say that I find this entire situation disgraceful"
Yeah? Me too. I was just trying to answer some questions in my friends' PMs!
Oh, and thanks so much for the subtle jab in your most recent article. Much love, Dub. You're a gem.
Good luck.
♥
Gosh I wish I would have saved that earlier comment of yours, Dub.
Really...
You're playing that game?
If you had something to say the first time (which, obviously you had a lot to say), you needed to be a man and keep it up there.
Scoff.
The original comment. Changed as it did not clearly specify WHY i was frustrated with this article.
"Personally I find it rather unethical that the Minister of new citizens is openly using her influence on newer players to garner support for her favourite candidates, one who is obviously a 'friend.'
I am not mudslinging, that is a factual amd reasonable point to make.
However, what IS unreasonable, is that you are totally wrong about my ideas.
I will state this emphatically: Health is not being eliminated, it is being moved.
The changes proposed in my manifesto (and also this comment) are not personally aimed at you Princess, but I must say that I find this entire situation disgraceful.
The powerful role that the MoNC holds in developing our new citizens is too open too abuse. This article clearly demonstrates that my proposed changes are needed - that is; removing the '1 party monopoly' of access to new citizens, amd making a fairer and less abusable system that will mean greater care and more choice for baby players."
Both comments are there for the public to see. I will never take shame in pointing out where I see misinformation and truth.
I apologise for your upset, IP, but we must agree to disagree.
Political office = responsibility & influence.
Responsibility & influence is compatible with opinion, only if that opinion is based on the whole truth.
To quote Dubh
Health.
* The Ministry of Health will be disbanded. Not only has this ministry been inefficient and largely ineffective for a long time, it has recently hit new lows of inactivity. I believe the funds would be better spent elsewhere, such as on the IDF and subsidising Irish businesses.
Just curious Dubh, in what ways will the health care of the new worker improve my it being moved? Also, what will happen to the coverage of those that are not in state companies? I can tell you that a majority of the people that apply for the Health Scheme are not from State companies.
Also, I know that gordongekko's quote is from your last manifesto. Do you still stand by that statement? If so would you mind sending me a PM so we could talk on it further?
Thanks,
Michael Hook
Dub:
We are agreeing to disagree, certainly.
If my "influence" over newer citizens is so significant that I cannot publish articles with my own opinions, I would suggest that no other ministers do so.
And I apologize for any statements that may have seemed like "half truths" to you. But you said you would be removing the MoH and spending the funds elsewhere. That, to me, translates as "it's wasting money. Let's cut it."
I don't buy that "moving" business. It's not going to be a health ministry any longer.
Again, sorry for any hard feelings. Good luck tomorrow.
♥
Thanks for your messages 🙂
Health is being merged with industry, where it will be run by Five ministers, one from each top 5 party.
The current MoI will have access to the state companies, and be charged with his current duties + providing targetted health to those who work there. These companies will be advertised in the media and by the other MoNC's to increase overall numbers.
The four other health ministers will not have access to the industries org, but will have ccess to the gifts company. They are charged with looking after the new citizens not in the state companies, who shall be divided up between them and tracked by current methods.
This way new citizens get more targetted care, as the workload of each minister can be more specific.
I know this will be a better system. Thanks, Dub.
Your going to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of a Ministry by merging it with an already over-worked Minister ?

I like the system you've proposed and I agree it would be better. However, why does this require a merging of the ministries? Also, where do you plan on getting all of these ministers? If I remember correctly presidents in the past have had trouble just filling their normal cabinet. Never-mind filling 7-8 extra spots.
Also, by one from each top 5 party...does that mean that only people in the top 5 parties may have this position? Or are you just trying to say that they all will need to be from a different party? Sorry for bombarding you with questions....
Michael Hook
I love your posts
Does the Princess love me?
