Civic Duties

As we all know there are certain duties that we must perform for the good of our country. Today I will go through some of our civic duties and explain why these duties are so important.

1. Voting - All of us have the responsibility to vote. We each get to voice our will 3 times a month. On the fifth of each month we elect the President of our nation. Voting is a huge deal because if you don't vote enemies can become the President of the United States. That position gives our enemies the most in game power to use against us. They can declare wars, attack regions, and empty treasuries. This is countered by our great congressional candidates. Of course, they will get in there and impeach that dirty leader. Well, unfortunately, the President has to get elected and an impeachment lasts 24 hours. A president could destroy the country during that period.

Lets move on to the election that happens on the fifteenth of each month. This of course is the party president election. As recent as last month we had a questionable candidate almost get his party into the top 5. Now you may be like, "Well, the Party President doesn't actually have any real in game power." This is incorrect as the top 5 party President's are able to endorse the presidential candidates and hand pick a candidate running for congress in each of a country's regions.

The most important election comes on the twenty-fifth of each month. This of course is the congressional elections. Why are these elections so important? It is because our congressmen hold a lot of power. They have the power to impeach a president that gets into office as an enemy or as a questionable domestic candidate. The problem is that if a single congressman is in office that doesn't have our best interests at heart they can request an impeachment of a good President. What does this do? One, it locks impeachment proceedings for 7 days. If that happens on the fourth of the month and the next president starts destroying the country we have to keep him in office for a full week. Also if we allow foreign or domestic PTO'ers into congress they can approve citizenship requests for 20+ more enemies. Making it harder to vote those pto candidates out of congress month after month.

Vote Smart, People!

Let your voice be heard on the twenty-fifth...If you are in a top five party hold your vote until last log-in and get into your respective IRC chat room. I will have a link for all the top five IRC rooms at the bottom of this article. Are you in a sixth party? Does your party not have any candidates running? First of all look for articles showing whom are officially endorsed candidates. Read the platforms. If they don't have a platform than they don't deserve your vote. Vote for the person with the best platform in your respective state. Have someone you want to vote for that isn't in your state? Contact the candidate you want to vote for. Most endorsed candidates will be able to get you 2 moving tickets and 4 gifts. The moving tickets are to get you into the state and then back to Karnataka. The gifts are to replace your wellness.
Whatever you do please don't vote in a fortress state that has already won. Listen to all SEC announcements...if you don't know who to vote for, go to #ATO on election day and they will coordinate you.

2. Primaries - The top five parties have an obligation to provide primaries for Party President and Country President Elections. This is so that all active party members know who the official candidates are. By making members active in the political process you make it harder for PTO's to take place and you get more members that want to take part in the political aspects of the game. But you all as citizens have the obligation to participate in those primaries. You get a voice in how your party and country is run. Pay attention to the debates, read the articles, and vote in primaries just like in an election.

Listen to Uncle Sam!

3. Fighting for your country - Okay so everyone tries to fight everyday. But I am talking about resistance wars. I see a lot of people that fight against DOD orders in order to get medals. It's just a medal people. The security of the country is not worth five gold. Also if you can afford weapons make sure you use them. You are much stronger with weapons than you are barehanded.

4. Blocking - If you are a member of a top five party, I urge you get with your party political director to sign up to be a blocking candidate. If you sign up, make sure that you move and run prior to server reset on the twenty-third of each month. The FEC would like you in place prior to server reset on the 22nd of each month. We need blocking candidates in order to prevent PTO's in our congress. As I explained earlier, this is an important part of your civic duties.

That's some high quality blocking!

I would like to close today with the top five IRC banners which ,if clicked, will route to their mibbit irc platform chat. Thank you all. Please vote and sub this article. Voting, Shouting, and Subbing this article is one of your civic duties. This is because you are informing people of there civic duties.
