Question: How do you plan on fixing the economy?

While it can be argued that the economy is fine, I believe there are somethings that we can do to help IMPROVE it. Since the end of Justinious Mcwallbergson's adminstration our dollar has risen from 0.017 to 0.02. This can effect our ability to export because a lower rate allows a better flow of exchange between us and other nations. This effort to boost exports also plays into my next goal. As President I would try to promote exporting through opening up trade with as many nations as possible. This means breaking down trade barriers that some nations have erected. Though import taxes may seem like a good idea at time they in fact hurt all parties. When Countries lower import barriers they allow two things to happen. One of these is that the cost of products goes down because there are more competitors in markets that may have few producers. One the other hand it helps Countries who have a surplus of some products, they gain the oppurtunity to prevent excessive products from crashig their home markets. Instead they allow these surplus holders to aid countries that desperately need more or cheaper products. Like I've said many of my policies are focused on making the eUS stronger while helping those that need help.

Question: How will you handle and use our milltary?

I believe the Marines have the perfect setup right now. Every member is registered for the Military forums and when there are orders, the marines can find them in their "Daily Orders Briefing" which is on that forum. Every member is to check them several times throughout the day or when they see one of their suppiors shout "Orders are on the Military Forums". In these orders they have a link to the QMG's order sheet and where they are supposed to fight, if they are to fight that day. I want to bring that system to all of the branches of the military.

Question: What will you do for ATLANTIS?

I'm currently working with several members of the eUS to draft a new treaty for a new Alliance, to possibly propose to the eUS and other members of the world. Atlantis is crumbling and I don't think it make much more sense to stay in a failing Alliance that doesn't have much, in terms of defense, to offer us. This new Alliance would be focused on returning owned and captured regions back to their orignal owner. I hope that through this treaty, instead of the eUS being one of the secondary players in the world, we can become a unifying force, and that we can bring to justice all who seek to use this game for it's cheats.

Question: How will you help non-Peace nations?

Helping the smaller neutral nations of erepublik is one of the center points of my platform. These countries have been marginalized by the two alliances. However these nations have an untapped potential. To help out these countries the eUS can do two major things. First off we can work to promote trade with these nations, as President I would work with top business leaders to bring much needed trade to these nations. The other way I would help, is to step outside of our alliance system bounds and offer these nations mpp's. With America backing them they will be less likely to pushed around by PEACE. Furthermore a corner-stone of my policy will be to try to block PTO's of these non-peace nations. However this effort to help them does not just have positive benefits for them. As I stated before there would be a good deal of exporting to these countries. This would help to ease eUS markets which are currently under the stress of too many products and not enough demand.

Question: What will you do with taxes?

Well I've been around for all 3 tax plans that we've had; CPTA (Comprehensive Tax Policy Act), the Emergancy Tax Plan after the Franco Fiasco, and the PANEC (Publius, Ananias, Economic Council) Tax Plan; my vice president choice, Jewitt, was also one of the writers for all 3 of the plans. I've seen the PANEC taxes work of late and the funding for our military is doing wonderfully right now.
