Join the new world

Hello all, your dream has finally come true. I’M RUNNING FOR CONGRESS!!! I’ll let that sink in…..You good? Ok, the reason I had my party battle article was one, help the noobs, and two, help me decide which party to run for. Personally, I thought the UIP gave the best answer, however, it was HeadmistressTalia who lured me to the libertarian party. You may not agree with her on the tax thing but I respect the fact that she is upholding her promise to the people and I can assure you that whatever I promise will also be upheld.

Now onto the issues!

Qualifications: First off, what makes me qualified? I’m still a new player, while most people would say that’s why you shouldn’t vote for me, I say that’s exactly what makes me the best candidate. I remember how hard the game is in the first few weeks. Barely surviving, can’t afford food, trying to learn about the game but there’s so much info you feel overwhelmed. I know what you’re feeling and I PROMISE that I will not vote for any legislature that will make it harder on you. Second reason this makes me qualified is because I have no “influences” I’m not looking out for my business because I don’t have one. I’m not looking out for my party because I will always vote for the country’s best interests and for the people. I’m not looking out for me because I’m dead set in making this a fun game for everyone.

RWAR: Let’s admit it, we pretty much all joined this game so we could kick ass. I’ve been in favor of going south and beating up on Mexico while it has no MPPs. I’ve started to back off from that position recently because I think we can fit into a new role. Instead of being imperialistic, I say we kick butt by being the defenders of peace and justice throughout the world. I want to sign MMPs with Israel, Greece, China, Russia, India(I know we have one already), Australia(yes, I know we can’t sign with them atm) that way we can fight but still be seen as the good guys throughout the world.

Taxes: Possibly the most important issue. I will not vote for any legislation that makes the income tax higher than the import tax. As to higher or lower taxes? I am for LOWER taxes, here’s why. I saw a comment regarding this issue and paraphrasing it, it went something like this. Why in the world am I paying higher taxes when the government says it won’t buy as many hospitals and defense systems? Why should I be paying for the weapons for a few select military forces? I completely agree. If there is not any spending by the government in the construction industry then I PROMISE I’ll do my best to lower taxes. By lowering taxes these tanks can buy their own guns.

Final Wor😛 I have worked extremely hard to learn about this game and I truly believe I know enough to represent the great people of North Carolina without embarrassing them. I happen to have a gift that few people possess. It’s called COMMON SENSE. I know I didn’t talk about everything and that’s because a lot of the issues are, it depends on the circumstance type of thing. I PROMISE that when presented with the facts I can easily pick the best policy for everyone. The noob, the business owner, the warmonger, and the pacifist. I know everyone one of these groups can be satisfied without hurting the other. I can and will do that, which is why you should vote for me, Muljo Gobet.
