XZ for PM Just Sounds Right... Right?

Kia Ora Kiwis and Happy New Year!

There are two purposes for this article. First, to inform you, my countrymen and women, that I am running for Prime Minister of eNZ; and second, to share my manifesto for the upcoming term if I am, in fact elected. Many of you know me, and for those of you who don’t you will learn. Seriously though, I moved to eNew Zealand from the eUK in December of 2010 after messaging Calbe (the first of two RL New Zealander's to hold this office in eRep). I told him that I was a RL kiwi and that I was coming home! Since I moved to eNew Zealand, I've become a very active and involved player. Both in politics and war, and even though I’ve been gone for a while (RL deployment, etc), there are some changes that I would like to make to the benefit of our country.

The Economy
Ok, so I’m not a big numbers guy and erep economics is not my strong suit, but I do have a lot of companies, and I try to make sure that my employees are paid a good wage and are taken care of. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t often see many of my goods sold, here in eNZ where they are made. I for one, sell many an item in other countries, just so I can remain solvent enough to pay my employees their wages. We don’t have enough people to maximize private owners profits, so as a country we are forced to sell our goods elsewhere to stay in the business of providing work and pay our employees. This has to change. I’m not sure if the prices are too high, or that people just don’t have the resources to purchase our homemade goods. Either way, we have to make goods available to all of our citizens, or we face the risks of an even more stagnant economy which we have at our heels! I’m not an economic genius, but there are many great minds here in eNZ and I am not stubborn enough to make the mistake of not asking their help to solve this issue.

Military
As we all know, ONE has suffered some horrendous defeats in the last couple of weeks. Hungary was wiped, as was the UK. Our own TW has seen us lose Otago and Wellington and RW them back again. I would like to thank all of our allies who fought for us in the last couple of weeks. Without your support, we would not have overcome the wolves of Teden at our gates. As for our Training War with Chile, it has become more of a gateway for attack from all the forces of Teden. Our current Prime Minister, mortalbeta has done a great job managing our TW’s, but I for one will not be sorry to see this one end. I won’t talk about Training Wars for the time being, but we will definitely see some military action in the month ahead. I love to fight, who doesn’t? Being elected Captain in the NZSF has been a highlight of my tenure here in eNZ and I have been grateful for that opportunity. If elected, I would like to propose a reorganization of our military forces. I don’t believe that the NZSF is utilized to its full potential. In saying that, there should be a strength and rank minimum for the unit so that we can utilize our biggest hitters when eNZ and our allies need it most. A better way to supply our fighters will be incorporated with a new channel, so that 3 to 5 people would be able to access and distribute supplies when we hit. This worked out great back in the old days when I fought in the eUK SAS and so forth, and I would like to use some of their organization to see that this plan succeeds.

Internal Affairs
The key to success in any nation is keeping our younglings informed of their responsibilities, and the chances to promote themselves through dedication and hard work. It’s so easy to sit back, work, train, vote when the time comes, and call it a day. Getting people involved in the infrastructure of the community is the only way to ensure that they keep playing. We need to do a better job of keeping our new players involved and staying with us. I would like to start up a mentorship program, whether it’s simply by PMing or IGMing a new player to offer advice and companionship. By reaching out to the community we can start a new generation of players to run eNew Zealand into the future.

stay tuned for this

As far as a cabinet goes, I’m not that bold. If I am elected as your Prime Minister this month, I’ll come up with one, but until then keep up the good work in a free and united eNew Zealand. I salute you all on a great victory in Otago and Wellington and wish you all the best for this brand new year. Hail eNew Zealand! As always I thank you all for your support and for reading this rather lengthy article!
