Xavier Griffith for March Senate

Day 1,191, 22:59 Published in Australia Australia by Xavier Griffith

My Fellow Australians,

Some of you know me, some of you don’t. Over the last month you have more heard more than enough about me, I am after all, if you believe some of those out there, the one and only person that created and implemented the Constitution all on my very lonesome. What can I do but laugh really.

That aside, I’m an Independent Senator, have been for along time now. In the previous elections I gained entry to the Senate with 35 Votes, the closest to me was at 25 Votes. When I ran as Prime Minister, I had the most eAustralians come out to vote for me over any other election and my second term vote was even bigger. The votes for me were the biggest any individual Prime Minister Elect has ever gained to date and since. I am also the only Prime Ministerial candidate to have broken the strangle hold that first the ADSP and then the AMP had on the Prime Minister role for quite some time.

I’ve always been an Independent, always looked to what I believed was the Best for the Nation as a whole, not an individual party nor its political agenda. Not interested in political agendas, never have been. There have been times when I’ve sided with a political party over another because I didn’t like what that political party was doing. As an independent I do what i believe is best for the Nation and will side with a political party if their policies are in the nations .

There are a couple of things I want to raise to the peoples attention in the up and coming Senate elections. Besides the fact that the Constitution doesn’t really relate to the General Population specifically, it more relates predominantly to the way the country will be run and operated. Its based on the games mechanics and also gives the People a say on changing how that will happen by referendum for amendments. Also, I’d like to point out that:

1. The constitution was passed by the following numbers from the following parties:
Indepdents: 5
DIYPA: 6
ANP: 1
GGP: 2

Those that voted NO were from the following parties:
ANP: 6
Independents: 1

The remainder voted NO because of the inclusion of the High Court which was removed afterwards:
Independent: 3
ANP: 3

2. I’d like to note, that of the 6 ex-Prime Ministers of eAustralia in the Senate the last term, 4 actually voted YES, 1 Abstained and 1 Did not vote at all. It has to be asked, WHY would 4 ex-Prime Minister’s of Australia actually vote Yes for the Constitution if it was such a restrictive piece of legislation to the Prime Minister instead of giving the Prime Minister more freedom than they had before. And with the massive reduction in useless Acts of Parliament that had accumulated over the months its freed Prime Minister's even further to act in the interests of the nation. Yet still those that have not been Prime Minister’s and not had to endure the endless times that we have had to troll through countless Acts of Parliament, which can change at the drop of a hat, before they can act to ensure that they are not impeached for breaking eAustralian Law.

3. I’ll also add that one of the other main reasons for the constitution and the idea of open transparency in regard to money use by the Prime Minister and his minister, is 2 fold.

1. Its now impossible to see what donations or movement of money has been made from or to the RBA or where it has gone because the Admins have removed that ability in-game.

2. Over the last 2 years, there have been approximately 5 thefts of gold from the RBA, most of which nobody knows where they went or who did it. That figure consists of roughly 2500 - 3000 gold if not more in that time. Without the Donation viewable option it leaves the country open even further for more thefts.

The Constitution is not perfect, there are things that need to be fixed in it, I’m not going to dispute that. Had they been raised as amendments to in the Senate, provided the changes recommended were good i’d have supported them. Independent Senator Majester did exactly that very recently, the amendments passed with a resounding Senate majority, whether they pass the referendum we shall need to wait and see. The constitution doesn’t stop the Senate from making other Laws, it simply limits those laws within the boundaries of the constitutional conditions.

The same thing could have been done for any other Amendment, but instead some have chosen to do their little public political grandstanding thing. This type of political grandstanding shows only that they don’t have the answers to the problems they raised, they just wanted to distract the public before the Senate vote away from their own failures to actually do their own jobs in the previous term.

What can you expect from me if you elect me into the Senate next term. I’ll work with those that want to amend the Constitution provided the changes are workable. I’m happy to work with new players that would like to enter the political sphere. What you have seen over the last month is probably the worst the Senate has ever been, but sometimes it can be good.

One of my most favourite quotes regarding politics:

“Every nation has the government it deserves.”
Joseph de Maistre (1753-1821)
French diplomat and philosopher
Lettres et Opuscules Inedits (1851)

If you don’t want to Vote 1 for Me, then I urge you to give your vote to another Independent or one of the DIYPA or Green and Gold representatives.
