Writing Contest Results

Day 549, 18:58 Published in USA USA by John Wycliffe

I received a few entries in the writing contest for my funds, not as many as I would have wanted, but the results were respectable. There were entries about everything, ranging from the psychology of the game down to game mechanics and the relationships between players and those who recruited them. According to the guidelines I set forth, I have chosen the three winners based on their essays. Thanks to everyone who submitted, and here are the winners for the last of my resources before I leave:

1st Place for 53 Gol😛 Arken ... for an exceptional essay on the psychology of this game and what it reveals about human behavior.
2nd Place for 1414 US😨 Emerick ... for a unique perspective on how we play the game, and what the role of story and our creation of story is in the New World.
3rd Place for a Q1 House: Lowell Kennedy ... for an essay on how what we do in eRepublik reveals things about ourselves from the avatar to IRC.

Thanks everyone for participating and this game has been great fun! These writings almost make me want to stay, but I have other commitments.

A-Dios!
