Join the new world

A lot has happened since I left and the few days I was back and didn't post anything. . . . Not just a lot, tons.

I apologize for not having my monthly story thing ready . . . .

Wow what an empress day this is turning out to be! Worries of wars and such all across the media. I wish I just had the story written, so I could provide an article about the holiday that is running thin. Tommorow, I hope, will have the story. But not today.

On the forums, I had read arguments for and against the actions taken by the Japanese government. Arguments like 'Why did they just give over Kyushu if it meant betraying what we stood for?', or 'How could the government lie to us about something this big?'

I'm not in the government section that was told and allowed to vote about such things, so I found out with the citizens with the rumors, propaganda, and any evidence that was possible to find.

My conclusion?

The government did whats right.

They did whats right for South Korea, Japan, and the future. We have proved our loyalty to our alliance, and though I don't fully agree with the limited amount I know of why they are attacking the US, We still cant betray them when we have already broken a section of the PEACE charter by bringing in and helping Korea. Without their trust we might be vulnerable. And then, we might lose japan. Japan and South Korea should never be lost, because without our great country, how could we do what we have been doing, by trying at out fullest to help those countries in need? We might lose our ability to do that if we lost trust and such among the other countries.

Also, I understand that the government had kept this all a secret to us. I understand, that while gaining the trust in the allies to Japan, we have lost some of the Japanese and South Korean citizens trust. However, I believe that you should still trust your government if you feel betrayed. They work their hardest to make sure you remain free in Japan. All governments have to hide secrets for the good of their people occasionally.

I'm sorry I rambled off about this, but its something I feel strongly about. I'm sure I didn't write it near as well as some of the others who posted on this topic, but still.

One newspaper that I read put it the best. We need to whether the storm.

Other news?

I've noticed the citizen ads are up. I can see the little orange party dude in the corner right now. It amuses me.

Also, I am again running for party president of the ULJ. I know I haven't done much, but I have tried my hardest for me being absent myself. I will be able to spend more time devoted to my party this time, so yeah . . . .
