Would you vote for someone who said he quit the game just coincidently after losing an election by a couple of votes?

Would you vote for a candidate, that has been inactive for the entire month, and has ran for PM unannounced. Kicking out another candidate, who announced his candidature earlier than anyone else and actually bothered to put forward his policies, someone who didn't even have the chance to put forward the rest of his policies or cabinet.
