WORLD WAR FOUR: The 2nd Great North American Invasion



Although New World scholars may disagree on the actual number of world wars Erep has experienced we are certain that this upcoming conflict will be on the level (or at least some of us hope) of the last great conflict known as World War 3. Since the formation of PANAM a slow and steady drumbeat had begun, the death of PHOENIX and the withdrawal of major powers from EDEN have shaped the New World into the position it finds itself in today. The NWO (as it is unofficially called) has been slowly posturing itself for The 2nd Invasion of North America. EDEN still in it's endless struggle for god knows what, has more or less keep to traditional allied lines, siding with PANAM even if they aren't happy with most of it's members, and we have a general sense of who will fight of what side. But some of nations are still stuck in-between and no one knows what side they will land on.

With the impeding War with Indonesia (NE proposal), and the INCI situation, the eUS has not been this interesting since Operation Red Dusk. What comes out of this situation is uncertain as America once again finds itself the underdog of this scenario. The first time America fought all of PEACE (which was 70% of the world back then and sure not by itself) and now the world's strongest nations (more or less) have banded together to one can only assume (and it is pretty much obvious now) to invade the US once more. Americans have long assumed that a full-scale total war would be the answer to (or at least a large component) a major baby-boom, that assumption will be tested possibly here and now. With a war of this magnitude, the level of emotion will be high, and that might just be enough to hook some of the newer players.

However the US is currently sitting in 2nd place in population numbers with 20 thousand "citizens", right behind Brazil (AKA: Brozil) with a impressive 25 thousand "citizens". But we are severely lacking behind NWO in combined total population experience. Serbia, Poland, Hungary, and Spain are all in the Top 5 of total population experiance. Although we are only about 2 Million off of Spain's total, Hungary, on the other hand, is the 2nd lowest in experience total (of NWO in the Top 5) is about 8 Million higher than USA and the difference only gets wider for Serbia and Poland. Greater experience usually means the higher influence in battle and the number of higher level fighters a nation posses. But all of those numbers are subjective anyway, but it does give you a general sense of the situation.

The INCI have a golden opportunity to show their commitment to the American cause. With many people considering them to be an outright PTO group or really stuck up a-holes, this maybe their one chance to redeem themselves in the eyes of the older more established American public, hell almost everyone. Even if they do this, there will be some who won't trust them regardless but all you need is the majority of the populous. Weather or not they fight for the American cause, they will fight. After all this is a prime time for them to progress to their goal of becoming the greatest fighting force Erep has ever seen.

Another group that has a golden opportunity are the American politicians, as the majority of them have little to no fighting stats. Low in-game Strength and Rank, they now the have a pretty good reason to get those number up. As their forte is in the political realm this is a chance to do something other than: complain, debate, and administrative work (possibly even crunch some numbers). The USA will need all the influence as it can get as an invasion of the USA usually means no holding back.

The future is unfolding right before our eyes and the battle lines will be drawn in the sand as nations will ally themselves with or against US.
