Hello to all,
first I'd like to say thank you to all the subscribers for making me the first media mogul from Germany, with this newspaper now being part of the top 25 newspapers in-game.

I also have information concerning the new update!

New zoom handling and drag control have been implemented!
Several notes on that matter:
1st: I know the knob of the slider on the top left corner is too small 😉 I will try to make it bigger as soon as I can.
2n😛 The zoom via mouse wheel only works properly when using Internet Explorer! This however is a known issue of action script 3 - that means I will not be able to fix it; hopefully the people from Firefox and Chrome will get on top of that problem soon.

Changes also include:
- the text size of the region info has been changed! I also found out that the bug some users have been experiencing, where the tool tip wasn't displayed directly above the mouse, is solely due to an older version of Flash. Updating the Flash Player will fix this problem for everyone!
- region links can now be activated through double clicking only

Future changes will include:
- raw materials filter
- highlighting of disputed regions (where war is raging)

Thanks. Indeed, the pointer problem was solved by updating Flashplayer.

However, I still have a problem. Using explorer, I quite often can't click and drag, so as a result, I can only zoom on the center of the map (Africa). Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I can click and drag normally using Firefox, though.

dragging (movement) is only enabled after zooming a little! this prevents the map from disappearing by mistake.

the map should zoom always with a slight orientation in toward the middle of the map. Also when zooming back out the map will focus in the middle again for the same reason!

Thank you, awesome map!
But zoom makes me mad, I'm using Firefox, so have to pull slider, it's super uncomfortable, too small, moving strangely.. Ahh!
I can't zoom in enough to read region description.
What can you advise?

I found a glitch - you can't read the region info because it's too small when you move the mouse over it. ;P

Personally I like the size of the zoom slider....non intrusive and is still very much usable.....I vote not to change it 😉

I cannot drag IE or Firefox too just zoom to Africa.

@ Tramas you must be experiencing some kind of weird operator error 😉

As I said before if you zoom in a little you can afterwards drag! This goes for all browser.

Simply zoom in half way then click into the map hold your right mouse button down and move the mouse! Depending on the speed of your internet and processor it might take a second to process.
